The Spreadsheet Compare App!! Thank you so much for showing that! I have been looking for something like that for a year and had no idea it was already on my system!!! Awesome!!
Here's a suggestion for a video: When analyzing data between 2 data sources (ie: spreadsheets from different sources), somehow if you perform a manual CTRL find, you'll be able to find the data you're looking for, but, not if you ran a XLookUp function - probably because the formatting from individual sources are different. Show us the best practice to make both sources of data the same. I've done copying the data onto a Notepad and pasting it onto a new (3rd) separate Workbook in order to make them the same formatting for both sources. This is extremely tedious.
Thank you Kenji! I’ve been using if function to compare😊. Is the spreadsheet compare a part of excel I can download or search in my computer? How much are the courses? Can you help me fix my graph? I am using clustered charts with primary axis and secondary axis to stack until sold and unit price for 3 types of products for 4 locations. One of the products secondary axis number ($7.5M) is bigger than primary axis number (7 sold units). So in the chart, the 2nd axis covering/over lapping the primary axis. How do I fix it? I added invisible value column and useing max formula. Added it to both primary and secondary axis. Still doesn’t work. Please help
I was expecting to see a scenario where rows were not just different but also rearranged. so i was thinking of concatenating all columns in a row then lookup from both sides
@@pirate185 yeah I’ll definitely tell you now 😂 i used to tie out 250,000 row tables when migrating to new ERP systems, and you don’t do it using conditional formatting or if statements

Mindblown by the bonus feature🤯Thanks Kenji!
That's great to hear thanks for watching!!
Thank you for sharing these tips. I also love comparing tables with power query and play with the different types of joins.
Either to get unique values in each table, duplicates or else to get the differences
Interesting, thank you for sharing :)
Where can I learn how to do this? This would help me with my job
Spreadsheet compare. That was gold.
Awesome video Kenji!
I appreciate your time and effort for that i thank you from algeria me and my team
My pleasure, thank you for watching :)
Love the conditional formatting one as I didn't know how you would apply that.
I normally use = TabA (cellRef) =TabB on cell to return True /False!
Awesome! Thank you for watching :)
Hello The spreadsheet comparison is only available in Microsoft 365 enterprise, not the home addition
but in this case, sheets and rows of order number are identical, what if the order numbers are jumbled, then these methods would not work?
Loved it... Thank you so much.. I learn so much from you ❤❤
if you just want to see the rows that contain a difference;
= FILTER( 'v1'!B2:E19, BYROW( --('v1'!B2:E19 'v2'!B2:E19), LAMBDA(x,
SUM(x))))
where do I download spreadsheet compare if I don't find it in my desktop. I'm running windows 11 with office 365.
Brilliant! Thank you Kenji.

Which is the first version 'spreadsheet compare' is available??
Super helpful feature!!
But what if I don't have any number on my excel sheet? I have alphanumeric characters, so it didn't work :(
Do both files need to have the same column order to use spreadsheet compare?
I can't find the compare spreadsheet tool. How can i get it ?
I don't have that spreadsheet compare tool. where to download that?
F4 key is not okay. How should do?
Thank you, Kenji.
Thanks for watching :)
Great kenji
Thank you!
Very useful tutorial 👌🙏👌
Thank you! Cheers!

the best way to do this is to create a hashsum across columns in V1 and figure out if it is different to the "corresponding" record in V2.
Hii Kenji can make series on CRM or anyone can tell me who can teach CRM like Kenji i need urgent help 😢

Cant find the "Spreadsheet Compare" app

A simple VBA comparing cells is much easier.
Hi sir
I have better way to check and reconcile both sheet diff
Which is????
I would have used Power Query. That last method was definitely hidden from me.
Thanks for letting me know!
None of these are the best way to compare 2 versions of a table
It's almost like there are multiple ways to do things
So where are your best ways 🚮

useless , time waste
