- Who else goes to Costco hoping to leave for under $300. Today's trip at least yielded some more ammo cans!

Ill stick with metal ammo cans. I usually get the 30 cal ones, the 50 cal ones get too heavy if you fill with ammo. You can get them all the time for 10$ a pop at HF.
I own both but having these trays for range days is nicer than metal at the moment
These are fine for short term storage of ammo, or just gear in general, but if you want long term storage, at the risk of sounding like a fudd, you should stick to metal cans with good seals, plastic bows and when picked up the seal breaks every time.
The MTM brand sled with 30 caliber cans is also another great option. These Costco branded sleds with ammo cans are $30 out of the Green Bay Wisconsin Costco. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to some knife vids.

Thank you for watching!
I do like the multi can trays, but mostly for accessories and cleaning. I don't load mags at the range, I only take loose ammo for shotguns or bolt action. The trays are useful, just be creative with them for what you want. Maybe have cans for hearing, target stapler, First Aid, reg misc tools and hex keys. Whatever you really want to have at the range, you will be ready anytime.
Always great videos and ideas. Thanks bro!
On another note, totally not related to this video but for anyone interested in SBR stuff, I did a Form 1 for an SBR. Submitted everything this past Saturday and it just got approved this morning. 5 days!- not even 5 business days, 5 actual days.
Thanks for sharing! I just got another form 4 back on 4-2 and it was submitted 3-28. I haven’t done a form 1 recently
I have this same setup, but I got mine on amazon. It works great and is way more convenient for more mobile ammo storage. Metal ones for long term storage, this plastic 4 pack for storing range ammo and SHTF grab and go ammo.
I have the same range bag. Love it! Mine is the 40L model 😎🐾🤙💝🇺🇸
I'd highly recommend stuff from MTM, the manufacturer that makes those cans. Great for making loose packs of odd calibers not so loose.
I see you have a U.S. Army shaving kit (ACU) bag inside your range bag. I have a bunch of those as well that has a luggage bag tag that is embroidered on the tag with information of which pistol magazines are in that bag (Glock 19, Glock 23, etc). It makes it easier to identify which shaving kit bag(s) to grab when I go to the range, depending on which weapons I want to shoot. Also makes it easier for storage in the safe so I will know which bag holds what magazines and some range ammo/defensive ammo as well. 👍🏾🇺🇸😃
Having an extra magazine is a must when you're at the range the heck with spending half your time reloading magazine when you could be shooting, i find that having 10 mags per firearm i find convenient
That plastic loves to break, there is a reason why most prefer steel
I have about 100 ammo cans both steel and plastic. I have yet to had any break. I have had plastic handles pop out of the jumbo plastic cans from being weighed down too much
I was thinking about getting those.😊
I bought one a few weeks back, and another last week when I saw my LGS sells them for $45.99!
They’re expensive outside of Costco
I usually go to the range riding my bicycle. So for me it’s only backpack and small bad
What ammo do you use in a daily carry?
Ammo boxes are no good. The way they are designed you have to move tops to get at bottoms. Sucks if you have 3 or 4 layers. I designed my ammo shelf so they slide in and can grab just the one i need.
Do you lock them with a pad lock?
They are 30 at my Costco, did you have a coupon?
No coupon, that was just the regular price. I bought my other two sometime last year for the same price
