I agree, he is correctly referring to diversity which is what, to a larger extent, GNU is about. But one would have thought he would go on and substantiate his argument further than he did. For instance, he didn't address the issue minority and majority (not in a bad way). He cannot reasonably say we must do away with BBEE because as a policy, BBEE makes sense. But practically speaking it's working for a few people. It doesn't need to be done away with, it needs to be revised and polished for it to do what it was implemented for, and not create a situation where merits don't count.

Problem is investment isn't a good measure of the outcomes for the majority, for example we recently became the "biggest economy in Africa" at the same time as having the "worlds highest unemployment rate" and being the most "unequal nation in the known universe".
There is still investment in Israel and DRC and I don't know how much "stability" can be gleaned from those countries.
