3:03 Windows 8 to Server 2019
3:59 Windows 11
4:03 Windows Server 2022
Finally a video where windows 1.0 all the way to 3.0 doesnt have a startup sound
Yes, windows vista all the way to server 2019 share the same startup sound, even windows server 2022 which had windows 11 ui improvements, still used the same startup sound, however windows 11 did have a different startup sound, but i like the previous one, however onward from windows 8, windows did not have a 'SHUTDOWN' sound
Correct
Windows NT 5.0 Really cool
0:17 Wow, how did you find out Windows 3.1 Beta 2 uses the actual Windows 3.1 sounds despite having a Windows 3.0-esque bootscreen?
the outro scared the shit out of me 💀
🤐
1:52 sounds like mastercard logo
2006- now still startup sound windows Vista/7
Finaly Windows 8 to 11 doesnt have a shutdown sound
windows 3.11 uses chimes as both startup and shutdown sounds
windows 95 and nt 4 startup sounds in the video are not the original versions, they are remade ones (note the nt 4 and 5 beta 1&2 shutdown sound is nt 4 startup reversed)
windows 2000 beta 3 has 2 different startup and shutdown sounds, the included sounds in the video from build 1983 - 2000, and the not included sounds from build range 1946 - 1969 (the startup one is usually mistaken as windows 2000 beta 1 and 2 shutdown sound)
windows server 2008 after build 5600 cannot play startup sound (if the startup sound event works, it will intended to play windows vista startup sound)
anyway these are not major things, your video is great!
Thanks for the info!
1:26 98
You forgot the earlier Windows 2000 Beta 3 Sounds.
1:02 sounded like the THX Deep Note
1:37-1:42 Windows sounds
Never thought that despite being 30+ years old Windows 95 and 98 would have great graphics 👍 (referring to their screens at 0:35 and 1:26)
I downloaded 4k bootscreen images.
1:33 sounds like domino's logo
How are the sounds so clean?
high quality
what happened to vista? i know it was crap but surely give it a mention
I put Vista there...
TADAAA
Longhorn makes me puke if they used the boring XP sounds...
I want those angelic vocals back!
The fake Longhorn sounds came from a Windows XP theme made by SAMSUNG.
I love 7 8 8.1 95 98 Windows
Windows is fucking hell. There is my Windows XP and my Windows 10. Choose a computer, working immediately, however. My father would notify if I do an break up in my both laptops. I knew that windows opened their laptop. I made it but... my father bought it.
Windows codename Whistler (Windows 2000 Luna theme edition)
Actually, not all builds of Whistler had the luna theme. The last build without Luna was 2419, and instead of Luna, it had the “Watercolor” (placeholder) theme.
0:25 the Roblox sonde💀

Thanks!
Windows 7 ????
1:17
I would rather prefer windows media senator
Windows Media Center came with Windows Vista and 7, but was also released for Windows 8 and 8.1.
Using Windows Longhorn with XP sound feels like Palestine winning the war lol
3:03 is Fake Sound
no
The sound is real, but it is disabled in mmsys.cpl.
