i have a weird feeling that alabama is about to go for another 10-15 years contending for championships every year …
It’s over
@@yissaskarlg4708 You so wish it was 🤡
Its like everyone forgot that Alabama was a flagship brand before Nick Saban. They had a couple down years but even Mike Shula and Franchione had 10 win seasons. That doofus Dubose even won the SEC.
A trash flagship program. I remember I lived it. Some of yall just showed up 17 years ago. How’s being a flagship program worked for USC ND Florida Miami in the last decade plus?
@@conqueror571You're so mad 😂
@@conqueror571 Calm down lil bro and get a new bowl of cornflakes since someone must have pissed in the ones you're eating now. Those other schools you named besides ND (who has different issues) lost focus on their football programs. That has never been a lost focus in Tuscaloosa. There was a bad direction for a few decades with the "has to be one of Bear Bryant's boys" to be coach that happened but the focus was always on football. I'm guessing either Alabama has beaten your fav team or is just a lot better and it pisses you off. Go touch some grass or something. It ain't that serious.
@conqueror571 LOL ND is the only flagship program on that list is maybe Notre Dame and they haven't won a title since the 90s. Florida and Miami are johnny come latelys that were doormats for 80 years. Alabama has won or played for a title in every decade except 1 for over a century. Most titles, most bowl wins, most bowl appearances, most 10+ win seasons, etc.
LMAO. Alabama was a flagship program before the SEC even existed.
I feel like Bama is going to win a couple of NC in the next 4 years.
No.
People neglected to do their research on Kalen Deboer. The guy has been a winner since HS. He’s won at every level of college football. Winning is something he’s done for over half his life. Can’t hand a winner like Deboer thors hammer and expect him to swing and miss.. that’s what the Alabama program is thors hammer. RTR
Alabama has consistently been a top 15 - 20 program every year in recruiting, since recruiting rankings have been main stream. Mike Shula, Dennis Franchione, and Mike Dubose all consistently had top 20 classes. People just can't acknowledge that the University of Alabama has been a power since the 1920's. You can deny that all you want. But the proof is staring right at everyone. Has Alabama paid players over it's history? Possibly, but doesn't matter now cause it's the law of the land now. Been hearing since Texas and OU made the announcement that they were headed to join the SEC. Texas fans were screaming the loudest that a new power recruiting program, with lots of earl money is about to relocate the SEC main office out in Austin. And I'm like, Urrr Otay! Just remember that Alabama has won the SEC and National Championship the last 2 previous seasons where 2 new programs were starting their inaugural seasons in the SEC. It's like the Alabama program makes a statement that they are they king of the SEC. The other programs in the league might make a bit of noise, might win some SEC titles, or maybe not. (See Arkansas, S. Carolina, Texas A&M & Missouri) OH and Alabama won the inaugural SEC regular season title in the leagues first season (1932) It won't hurt as much if y'all would simply acknowledge that Alabama is and always will be the greatest program of all-time! #RollTide #OhYouDidntKnow #4Milroe #JalenHeismilroe
Bear Bryant is a legend and won a bunch. After he left Alabama was only able to win one National Title with Stallings. However, the Tide went through a boat load of average and bad coaches. Curry, Franchione, Perkins, Shula, Price etc and then Saban left LSU after beating Alabama and winning Tiger Nattys and coached Tide back to Bryant stature. He's gone, welcome average and Merry Go round of losing coaches. You taken Saban for granted and expect the same as the GOAT. Good luck with Coach carosel😢
@@user-wh4un9sh4r I haven't taken anything for granted. Saban is definitely the GOAT and no one can ever take that away from him, nor the University of Alabama. And yeah, Bear Bryant is still a legend in the eyes of many Bama faithful. But seems alot of younger people today don't understand how Bama was a championship caliber program for nearly 40 years before Bryant became head coach in 1958. When Bryant was a player during the 1930's with greats like Don Hutson. They won a national title with Frank Thomas as head coach. I know alot of people look at the 1920's, and 30's as a time when college football was in its infant stage. Alabama was a team that was in the Rose Bowl more than some. Alot of people hate giving Bama credit for any national titles before Bryant, or credit for a couple of national titles Bama claims in 1965 when Bama went 9-1-1 and beat Nebraska 34-7 in the Orange Bowl. But was excluded from the 1966 title because Mich St/Notre Dame tied in their bowl match up. In 1945 Alabama went 10-0, beat USC 34-13 in the Rose Bowl, and was left out of the national title picture. So there are 2 national titles that Bama should claim but don't. My point is that Alabama may have some roller coaster seasons, may have those down years. But Alabama will always be a championship team, and will always be a pain in the butts of every other passionate football programs, and fanbases across the country. Just because I stated a fact that Bama has been a power before Saban, doesn't mean I don't respect Saban's career at Bama, or that I don't think Saban is the GOAT. He is, and Alabama is the program that helped give him that prestigious label. Saban has even said that Alabama is probably the only program that could even give a coach like him the ability to become the great coach he has become. Some may think differently, but that's why it's just my opinion, and something we will never know. But I can guarantee that even after the GOAT, Alabama WILL win more national titles. And very well could win this upcoming seasons national title. There have been first year head coached that's won a title. Larry Coker of Miami in the 2000's is one that comes with mind. And DeBoer has proven to win at every spot he's been. And one last thing to mention. Nick Saban is still working for Alabama. He's just not the head football coach. I mean, I don't know why people won't acknowledge the fact that Alabama is the greatest college football program to ever be assembled. And when Alabama hires a coach that is willing to work hard to win national championships, they win national championships. That's why Alabama is the program to coach if you wanna be the GOAT. National titles and Alabama football go together like oreos and milk. Or like Ragu and pasta. I'm a die hard Bammer through and through. And I will never take any coach for granted that coached the greatest program in college football history, even the bad ones. They just didn't have "it".
@@MetallicAAlabamA I certainly don't doubt YOU haven't taken anything for granted and I was talking in general. Saban is the Goat in my and your opinion and I don't have any doubt that most would agree except for the Michigan/Ohio State dummies. I am somewhat familiar with the program and the history but must admit I am not sure about the Pre Bryant days but recognize the Tide were always a factor in the National level of power. However, most of the national championships were voted for and shenanigans were the norm. Mostly Associated Press were the official determining poll and the Northern states and California were in a large number of people who voted and they were voting for Notre Dame and USC, Michigan, Ohio State and Texas due to the to large numbers who were employed in the metropolitan area. It is what it is and Alabama was competing for those votes like a number of Southern schools with half the representation NY City, Los Angeles and Chicago (Notre Dame) Houston/Dallas etc controlled who were crowned. Saban was the one who won the national championships on the field but benefitted from being selected more than anybody except Clemson and Ohio State. Saban won a title w few years back losing to Auburn and not winning the Division. Tide didn't play in SEC Championship game but were selected and beat UGA in Championship. Nobody else gets the benefit of losing division and not playing in League championship but can be selected for the playoffs.
Alabama was not more than average before Saban was hired and then he took them to the top. I don't have any problems with the Saban years and I realize he worked for his success and delivered the goods. All of this is my opinion based on what I think I know.
LSU is a school that could be where the Goat was made. Alabama isn't the only one as you say but they did so it's not a real thing. But Saban won a National Title with the Tigers and LSU won another Title with Saban roster under Miles and then a few years later with Burrow and characters. Thats 3 that the Tide didn't win and Had Saban stayed in Louisiana he certainly would be a multiple time Champion and Alabama would be looking for a coach like everyone else has trying to compete with Saban. That's where we may disagree but that's Okay. I'm glad Saban left for the Tide because we got King Kirby out of the deal in Athens. Good luck and good health see y'all soon in Tuscaloosa.
@@user-wh4un9sh4r Much respect for the reply. I will admit, I'm guilty of very long comments and replies lol. But really respect what you stated.
@@MetallicAAlabamA Thank you sir. I am guilty. I appreciate your time and you equally have my respect for the courtesy, Good luck except for the Dawgs and the hopefully we can play three times this year.
DeBoer will do what Saban did... Retire at BAMA! Roll Tide!!!
I’m a Tide fan 8 days a week. If this man wins 2 nattys he’s gone to the NFL deservedly.
Mfn FACTS
Has He won one or 2 or anything@@brodyabel7300
Nah, if he is successful at Bama, he will prob take a dab at the pros
Nah I don’t think he’ll leave. If he wins two, he’ll be on a path to pass Saban. He knows that will make him a legend
I don’t care if we’re number 1 necessarily. You have to look at the average star ranking and even then throw out the kicker (because they aren’t ever really more than a 3 star). I think if we’re top 3 with the right mix of guys it’s splitting hairs. Anyone who signs a top 5 (ish) class has a ton of talent.
We'll definitely have the best recruiting class and we'll continue to win all our games. The only time Alabama ever loses is because of injuries.
Roll tide!
Thanks for the great news and Bama updates. RTR!
Roll Tide from Naples Florida
The Alabama General Manager is a cut above everyone else. Most, college don't have a General Manager. Period
Now watch EVERY college will have a general manager by next season.
Great job. By the end of recruiting could have 8 5 stars. RTR
I think based on his history and age that DeBoer could retire as the GOAT. His record coming into Alabama was jaw dropping and now with his new super star staff and the second to none facilities, fans and support staff, the sky is the limit. Quote from one top target this week "Alabama is just different...special"
He has never played a game in the SEC and you think he will be the GOAT, LOL!!!
Deboer is bringing a new kind of fire to this Bama machine and recruiting at an elite level without even a season played, which is very scary to think about, at least for everyone else! Roll tide 😂 🌊
Lol Wiltfong just put in another prediction for a 5star RB to go to bama
I am very surprised, they are exceeding my expectations!
I was always optimistic. But here we are. Rolltide
I think Bama finishes top 3. Will be hard to predict them to pass Ohio State although with recruiting updates Bama's class is going to see a bump in rankings even if they don't add another because Russell will be a 5 star. Jackson Lloyd will be bumped in other services. Lotzier Brooks will be a 4 star. Lots of guys in the class now that are under ranked at this moment in the process that will see a bump in rankings as recruiting services catches up to them. So if they get a favorable bump from that with the possible 5 stars entering the class then yeah they could finish #1. Gonna have to see. We'll get a better idea after the latest rankings update.
Alabama finished top 2 my guy.
I'm a Buckeye fan but respect Alabama Football Tradition. They may have hired the right guy? Tough act to follow!
For anyone potentially just waking up from a coma, Saban retired…and this is still happening 😂
Roll tide!!!
Roll tide baby Roll 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Coach Deboer baby. The New future goat.
2:38 I'm not i' m a diehard fan & i believe in this team something milroe said last yesr stuck with me after the sec championship game he was asked what kept you going the fans that believed in me & to ones that didn't well i didn't give up on me gave me chills & to get that close to a nc when everybody was against you that speaks volumes, i knew saban was & is a permant fixture at bama, deboer won the lotto of coaching jobs, saban retired yes but i remeber watching espn storied a football life theoinly thing good a bout espn, they asked him why did you want to coach alabama his answer i knew i could bring it back & mrs terry told me stop being stubborn & take the job 😂 hey behind every great man there's a great woman, saban put deboer in the best position to take over, it's funny rival fans was so happy to see saban retired they was probably running a round screaming probably rolled the trees in tommiers corner, lswho fans wason bouburn street acting like it maidi gra 😂 tenn fans was slapping old rocky flop singing danceing shooting their six shooters 😂uga fans druleing all over themselves 😂 but what did deboer do he settled the ship him & his staff went to work! morgan who is a key recruiter he's been on sabans staff 4 17 years he knows how saban thinks & with freedie roach they hit the trail & never looked back! When ryan williams decommitted who got him back deboer & his staff did he recently tweeted (if you don't want to play 4 alabama your crazy) so i don't care what uga, aub, lswho, or tenn fans say if you're a bama fan it's just getting started in this new era of college football & if your on our schudle look out, yes i would love to play mich & texas in the playoffs again! Do i think we will have that chance yes our offense is one of the best in the nation, we all know the main problem was our o line that's the thing i'm excitied to see bamas o line other than that let's get this season started! milroe, kobe jam, justice, young & law, defense we got campell, lawson, malichi, domani jackson will be hard to handle, Bama fans get ready & rival fans that was happy now your sad wishing bama dropped off but all it's doing is picking up speed, like or not saban handed deboer the keys to a lambo not a busted up honda ROLL TIDE! 6:29
I always thought Bama would be okay but will be interesting to see what happens if they drop a few games like last year.
I’m an Alabama fan and I’m not in favor of speculating about whether Alabama is going leap other programs to end up #1 in the recruiting rankings. First, the “trends” have to commit. Second, the players have to remain at Alabama.
Nick Saban was Not a HOF Coach until he came to Alabama.....Nick became the greatest College coach ever AT Alabama !!! We expect the same for Kalen DeBoer.....ROLL TIDE FOREVER !!!!
ROLL TIDEEEEEEE 🐘
This has the makings of the BAMA class with DeVonte Smith, Jerry Judy and Ruggs
I don’t think you will ever see another WR class like that. But keep in mind who came on board during the same class…..Tua. He was able to make them great and they made him elite also. Had these guys played with hurts another year or a Milroe….we would have never seen their true potential. And I may get some hate for that last statement. But everyone knows it’s true.
If Bama would have had a Tua, Bryce, or maybe even a Mac Jones last year…..it’s another undefeated national championship.
We cannot play from behind and have any hopes of winning a shootout right now unless it’s against “air” like it was with LSU this past year.
RTR 💯
RTR 💯🔥💪
I’m not going lie I’m surprised lol
I’m just glad all the haters gotta eat they words 🤣 iv been pulling receipts on people the past few days. ROLL TIDE
Roll Tide! This is so exciting.
The question should be can Alabama beat Georgia for the Number 1 class in America?
Ohio State has as sizeable lead right now but yeah Georgia, Bama and LSU are in striking distance.
Absolutely 💯
Alabama is projected to have 6 five star commits currently (Duke Johnson, Caleb Cunningham, Akylin Dear, Ty Haywood, Keelon Russell, Dijon Lee). They’re in the mix (slight favorite) for the number 1 LB in the country as well (Ty Jackson). In the mix for 4 other five stars as well (Na’eem Offord, Justus Terry, Kaliq Lockett, Derek Meadows). If Alabama simply finishes with 5 five stars on board, it’s the number 1 class & by a good margin.
The question is: can Georgia beat Bama on the field with all the talent they have? Didnt work so well for them in 2023.
Georgia is #5-6
Ohio State took the slot of Alabama for DBs and defensive 5 stars, OSU 24 class plus this 25 class, David sanders OT #1 looks like it’s OSU, 2 of the top WRs are leaning OSU, How can any team throw the ball on OSU? They have STUDS all over the secondary, 24-25 class is nuts, add in LBs and DTs and EDGE 4 stars. Don’t see Alabama jumping OSU, they still don’t have the #2 CB or the #1OT added to the 25 class. OSU may score the highest rating of any class ever in 25. Kalen hasn’t proved a thing a Bama, OSU is a proven commodity, I’m not sure what Bama looks like without Saban.
As good as the recruiting is it’s gone be sad when all the coaches get poached by other schools every year smh
BAMA FB will go to the # 1 recruiting class when the 2025 when it all winds down. Next up? Caleb Cunningham, WR out of Mississippi...
RDT
Don’t matter who they get FSU is winning the championship
Next up. I think Bama will (continue to) be a perennial playoff participant but Nattys won't be as frequent. Simply the current (re)structure of the SEC and the playoffs themselves make repeat championships more unlikely. Which is what everyone wanted right? More parity. Though I'm afraid that all the SEC haters are going to be sadly disappointed - because the SEC will have disproportionate representation in the playoffs particularly with the downfall of the PAC 12. So now instead of watching an SEC National Champion - ya'll are all going to be watching an SEC National Championship Playoffs with a few wildcard teams thrown in for entertainment purposes. In the blessed name of Bear Bryant, Roll Tide Roll! P.S. I understand there are conference automatic bids - regardless they for all practical purposes will still just be there for ratings.
LFG😎🤙🏼 #RTR🐘🔴🏈
Coach KD won't stay at Bama forever. I think after he wins a few championship, the NFL might try to poach him away.
Nope
If that’s the case we’ll have a few more Nattys. I’m fine with that
@willscarborough9089 I agree. That means that Bama has won a few SEC Championships (potentially since now we have an expanded playoff), and some nattys.
If Bama takes 30 recruits maybe.
Cry
RMFT 🐘🐘!!
They will pass Ohio State because like typical SEC schools they will over sign. Probably sign 30 or more kids. Ohio state will only sign 22-25 max. Ohio State will have the highest avg per recruit.
like last year?
Means nothing if you dont win it all.
Always a hater some where
Ohio state has top classes alot & hasn't won one since 2014. Next.
@chrso which team besides Georgia Alabama Clemson has one Ohio state only won 2 in 24 years. I am guessing your team won every other year right istopherwoodson7162
What was it 2015 the last time ohio won a nc you got stomped in 2020 yeah! before you say it was a covid year didn't stop saban from kicking days azz 😂
Bama has won it all more than anybody on this planet. Bama’s trophy case is a 1/1 and nobody else is close. 🤡
No. Bama.
Deboner will lose 3 this year! Sorry Tidies but he isn’t ready for the SEC.
Why go to Bama? Deboer hasnt proved anything yet. Got smoke by a physical team in that title game. He's no Nicky.

No they most definitely won’t pass the Buckeyes
lol
Georgia has shot and could be back to back number 1 classes.
U already crying 😅
