Thornton Manor on the 19.3.23 (13 Months After the Fire)

So I have not posted a video on Thornton Manor for 6 months now so I took a trip there today to have a look if there was any progress at all with the repairs to the roof and building that was badly damaged by the fire in February 2022.
Here is my video.. It is short as there is not much to report at all unfortunately.

I only live a short distance from the manor . Such a shame with the fire . I did not realise the full extent of the damage, till I watched this video . Thank you for your work .

I used to be the wedding co-ordinator here, and cried when I found out about the fire. So sad to see it in this state, probably my favourite places I've worked, favourite jobs, the building was stunning and I loved the brides and grooms I met. I hope it gets sorted and a good company can take over, make it thrive like it deserves! ❤

I dropped x5 pensioners here over the weekend,they loved staying here as i was staying in Prenton with my sister ,please go and stay it is lovely and we will be back i promise.

They need to fix the roof Nick before the can do any internal fixing. So sad. A lot of damage seems to have been done.

Ah...I thought perhaps Thornton in North Liverpool. I tried to envisage a manor house there

Such a shame that it's still in pretty much the same state as last time you got footage. I guess it's money as it looks like a lot of work needs doing to bring it back to life.
