@@adrielisaac2810 Unfortunately I did some searching and found out that the propeller picture is of Olympic not Titanic. I thought it was Titanic atleast it's said it is but unfortunately it's not. Bummer but it's still a cool picture.

I think our interest in sinking model Titanics is macabre. Actual people died that night, families ruined, yet Titanic lives on in our general consciousness as a sort of mythology, a legend.
Fact is that Titanic never sunk but was instead secretly rerouted to a secret military base south of Hawaii , the people on board survived for the most part till they died of old age. Some where used for scientific testing however.
@@venomvevenom I suggest you read "none dare call it conspiracy" by Gary Allen. You might learn something. I honestly feel sad for you for living in a bubble. That counts for most people so don't take it as an insult.
Notice that the stern came back up verticle, that's what surviors said happened. James Cameron and his new virtual sinking simulation might be wrong. The movie might be very accurate.
@Frederick Kellett There is a very well-backed theory that Titanic broke into 3 or more parts, with the main split being just forward of the 3rd funnel creating the main forward and aft pieces, with the missing "middle tower" being the 3rd piece broken and either destroyed during the breakup or scattered through the debris field.
@Frederick Kellett The best description of the theory would probably be from 'Titanic Animations' who discusses the idea of a 3-piece breakup in a few of his videos. I do still think Titanic had a lot more visible of a break than featured in a 3-piece scenario [where the main split tends to be a lot more subtle to the naked eye] but it explains a lot of mismatched survivor testimony.
Crazy how a disaster is now a toy where you can entertain yourself by watching the disaster happen over and over. lol Can't wait for the Challenger and Columbia toys to come out.

I was in deep thinking imagine the massive ship your in command of going down while the captain locked himself in his room water rising over his head while he's style got last breath in his lungs he drowned 3.8 km down in dark Cold Atlantic ocean forever heart 💔 I will always be obsessed with this tragic event may the beautiful souls rest in peace 🙏
No one really nows how captain smith died some people think it was like how you said and others say he died saving a baby but I believe the one you said
I had gotten this exact model/book as a Christmas present many years ago (before 2000) from my parents because I loved that movie. Sadly, many parts of it were lost over the years (I was very young), but I believe I still have the hull with most of the decks and maybe a funnel or two back at my parents house 😅 I would have loved to buy a replacement, but sadly they don’t make them anymore.
There has not been a video describing how to modify the model to break at a high angle despite me asking for a tutorial on an old account. When will you post this video man?
I'm planning on making a video like this someday, been busy at college lately... It's a very simple modification and requires no cutting or damaging of the model itself. Just pop off the forward deck section and add a few coins to the bow. Mess around with different coin ratios until you get your desired split angle.
I'm actually impressed at how well the model replicated the sinking, from the listing and the splitting to going vertical before going under
Yeah, very accurate
CCCP
It's pretty and all, but the ship didn't break in that place
@@gabodazfex2298 according to survivor Charles Joughen, it did. After the breakup it leaned to port, lifted up a bit, and sank vertically.
@@gabodazfex2298 do you mean the angle it split at? Because the place it split at is correct
is it bad that i'm brutally in love with this ship, i spend everyday watching videos of it?
I totally understand, I actually have the picture of it in dry dock with the guys standing next to the propellers in my living room.
No I love it too it isn’t weird until you say that you liked how people died
Ride Red I have one titanic picture too the one where when you search up is like the first picture you see

He USED to have it
It's interesting to see an actual model in actual water for a change, instead of the usual computer generated simulations.
I've been looking for one of these sinking models ever since I got into Titanic in 2010. Still haven't found one
Look up titanic submersible model on eBay and you’ll, find this very one if you’re willing to pay 2k
