- A Motorcycle Safety Film from the 1960's This Film might " Seem "Out Dated" ,However This Common Sense Approach is Still Valid in Today's World....This Video has Been Posted in the "Public Interest" For Educational Use.
The "Dynamics" of Riding a Motorcycle has not changed...Back then, there was No Safety gear available. Only Crappy Helmets..Wear Protective Gear..The First time you go down [On the "Asphalt Belt Sander "] You will be glad you were not wearing Shorts ,Tee Shirt and Tennis Shoes.... In 1970 I got Third Degree "Road Rash" Never Again... - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I miss the good old days.

MCTeck, what a wonderful time I have watching and learning from this nostalgic film, thanks so much!
I had a Honda S90, like Roy's bike. Mine was a 1965 model. Bought it for $125 in 1987. It was in great shape and ran great! I miss it, even though I have two big v-twins now.
Ditto. FXD and 1961 BSA Golden Flash in the garage now but when I was 16 in 1972, I had a Motobeccane Sport 50. The miles I did on that. Lach. Kent England.
This is by far the most educating video there is. Such a lovely job, everything so positive. I'm very impressed. Thank you for sharing it :-)
I remember this when it was brand new!. Thanks for showing it. Love them old Hondas!
Love the silly 60's incidental music!
Applying the rear brake first and holding the bike on the front brake both not we do now.
You meet the nicest people on a honda
Mustang coupe @12;03 with what appears to be Shelby taillight panel.
Left hand turns!! Remember when we almost got whacked on my 600 Norton by those 2 girls at Adams and Mesa Verde Dr............informative video, Thx.
Wow! those were sure powerful machines. I want a pair of white slacks to ride my motorcycle like Roy has. I did not know Long Beach P.D. wore bow ties! At 14:00 when the gal steps out of the car the Roy gets passed on the right! OMG! My riding buddy Rich would have gone postal!! Boy/Golly/Gee wiZZ they have kraPPY safety gear. If Roy doesn't call her, I will.... Great vintage vid :D
honda monkey :D it is a historic movie.
all new riders should watch this and understand ! if they don't understand just some electro shock should be applied ;)
Starting at 28:30 The Most dangerous Situation ! Left turns in front of You! I have been riding on the street for 42 Yrs ...It still scares Me ! And when you hit the brakes....Watch Behind , The Cage Driver might be on the Phone and might Hit You....From behind ,while trying to Avoid the "Fail to Yield "Left Turner...
oh boy here we go. safety video from a time when safety protocols in america were highly questionable. lets see if we can learn Anything useful .....
I don't know if Susan's helmet would pass design regulations.
Nice bike Roy! Where do the batteries go in at?
susan got them in the rabbit lol
Is it a Honda Commercial?
Motorcycle Safety Film …. Driver not wearing a helmet…
never ride a motorcycle without a helmet
So wrong, in so many ways. Lots of old-timey and outdated safety strategems, unskilled riding, and unintentional examples of how *not* to do things. I'm no fan of "ATGATT", but geez - "none of the gear, ever"? Do love all those little ol' Hondas, though.
