The country bear jamboree is honestly my favorite attraction in all of the Disney theme parks history I’m super happy that the shows humor and characters still live on! I do prefer the old show but I’m super happy with this reimagining of this timeless classic! 🤠

Me and my sister just saw this today! We absolutely loved it! I’ve been a Country Bear fan since I was a kid, and I gotta say loved this as much as the original! We saw it three times today.
Honestly, this new version of Kiss The Girl is an absolute bop! Is it me or do these songs (and I mean this in the best way here) kind of come out of nowhere as well, just hitting the audience with them? There's introductions yes but there's definitely a few moments where, wham, here's something really cool, and another one. But they all get time to breathe too.
I saw the original show in 1974 when I was 10 years old and loved it. It has always been a must do every trip. I have to say that in my opinion Disney did a great job on this refurb. While I will miss the old show/songs as I’m a lover of old country music, I’m also a lover of Disney music. By the way the animatronics look amazing! Does anyone know if they are new or just a great refurbishment on the old ones?

What the hell? I'm surprised they didn't plug ABC and ESPN while they were at it. Does everything have to be corporate?
So the other option would have been to scrap it in general ? plus although the folks that like the original show have to understand Besides those that saw show the show growing up, not many kids today or perhaps parents probably knew the original show had been shortened over the years that it kinda lost some of the songs.
Why does the show feels to much shorter? Honestly they could always change it again in the future if people ever felt like ditching the IP songs in place of real country songs. At least the opening song is original.
I’m glad it’s keeping the charm it has. Hopefully people won’t attack it like they have with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (disgusting they refuse to give the new ride a real chance)
At least they still kept Buff, Max, and Melvin around. I wasn't sure if they were going to still be kept around or removed. I'll aways prefer the 1971 version of the Country Bear Jamboree over the 2024 version. Whosever idea it was to have this show updated clearly made a big mistake.
Let’s face it, the theatre was basically empty for every performance prior to this update, replacing the old folk songs with Disney music just makes it more appealing to younger audiences. I’d much rather have this update than the show being removed because nobody was watching it.

Hay, I know this is going to be an odd comment for some of you but could someone (or a few of you) please write back with some descriptions of things? I'm a blind person and whilst I'm loving the songs, I'm wondering about some of the gags, and, even, what this show kind of is. No one's really explained it to me before. I know they're bears, but what size are they? Is it a sort of stage, are they moving around the room? It seems like this version's also got loads of harmonies. I'm happy with whatever any users can come back with here. Also feel free to describe colours (sorry about spelling, I'm using UK English) as well. But colour wise I'll still be able to appreciate the detail my brain will kind of separate into compartments. I'm also hearing from a few sources is the area/room is called Grizley Hall as well? That's really cool!
It’s a golden gilded stage, with red curtains. The different bear performers come out from either center stage or 4 smaller stages off to the sides! There are also a moose, bison, and deer mounted on the right wall who do the spiel at the beginning! During supercalifragilisticexpialidocius, the fiddle begins to smoke!

Oh my gosh can I just say, and I promise this in the best way here, you've won my version of the net because of your username. I'm blind, so I use a screen reader, and had to slightly double take as I thought hold on a sec did that say what I thought it did, and, it did! Made me laugh even harder. Bar Bar Jinks! Honestly, thank you so much for the laugh and I promise you that's meant as a complement. As for the cast members and such, I guess we'll have to see. It's going to be interesting to see how the new Little Mermaid show does. But these bears, right now, are the win.

It can't be easy, and whenever I've been to the parks I've got nothing but admiration for what you all do, from greeter, to the ones who have to talk about row numbers and assign, to guest services and to those in the stores and restaurants, to the ones helping out the characters (is it "escort" or another name?) as well as the friends of the characters as well. Now, granted, my last trip to a Disney park was Disneyland California August 2019. But I still watch/listen to videos, and from what I've seen the cast members seem to be doing alright, and, to use a lyric from a Disney number, "we got a lot to do" (i.e: in Be Our Guest) and as such, it can't be easy. These days, especially I think that rings true with new policies like DAS being revamped, but I'm hoping things can work out in the end.
Of course they HAD to include a song from Frozen and it’s the worst and most unnecessary one in the entire movie. Who asked for Fixer-Upper to be sung in this attraction? Why did Disney think that was such a good idea? (In fact, who asked for Country Bear Jamboree to be given a permanent IP-based overlay? NOBODY, that’s who.) Fixer-Upper is just one of the many, many reasons why Frozen’s the WORST and most OVERRATED franchise of all time. When will the insanity ever end? At least Let It Go was excluded.
It needed it. While I loved the original show, it was old and tired. If you want to listen to the original music, you can always listen to it somewhere that it's available. They did a great job with this refresh. Disney attractions need to remain fresh and relevant. I love it, and I've been going to Disney Parks since 1963. Not everything they do today is great, but this they did well with.
@@cayoooga Walt Disney always wanted his park to keep growing so they handled it well here with the bears, gave the show a new breath of air, and the humor is still great so I’m glad to see to see they still care for this show
@@cayoooga But the majority of the songs in this version have been played to death along with them not belonging in the attraction whatsoever. Besides, some of them can already be heard in other attractions in the Magic Kingdom. If you want to hear Kiss The Girl, Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid has got you covered. And if you want to hear A Whole New World, go see Mickey's Philharmagic. Simple as that. 🤷♀

indeed, and from what I've heard parts from the old Splash Mountain animatronics were used to help aid the upgrade of the existing CBJ animatronics

I mean the original show had been shortened over the years to from 15 minutes to 10 minutes I believe, one song from Wilbur and Henry was removed

It’s not the worst song in the whole movie, at least they didn’t include let it go, and stop Copy Pasting in every video for this retheme
