Orange County's Best Flow Trail? The Luge 4/21/24

- The Luge is considered OC's best Flow Trail. It's one of the trails that I used to ride a lot when I first started riding. It's a fun trail but the climb is pretty long, but it's easy on an e bike. I don't ride here often because there's no other trails so if you want to take multiple runs you would just climb back up and do it again. I only ride here when I only have a small window to ride.
Was awesome seeing you up there and sharing the trail with you brother. I was in that group when you got up there. Love all the content, you’re a genuine dude my brotha.

I just did this yesterday. The county fixed a bunch of the ruts on the road up, which is nice, but it's very loose now. For the time being the climb on a analogue bike is tougher than usual. Should compact down in a little while though.

@@MarioXcore1no not trail work, graded Santiago Truck Trail, a fire road. Also I didn’t see the trucks doing the work but I think it was the federal forest service (Cleveland national forest). I’ve seen them out in the Santa Ana’s grading the other fire roads (maple springs truck trail, Harding truck trail, main divide, etc)

FWIW there is also Cadillac and Lower Joplin near by too.
Yeah I would only do that if everyone on ebikes. That climb is pretty bad
@@TommyHuynh Climb it, really? I would have assumed it's more of a trail to go down hill on.
@@mellissanash7517he means climb to the top of Joplin via Harding truck trail , to descend the trail. A 3hr loop if you’re quick :-) and I agree, good suggestions, those are good options out in that zone for sure.

@@TommyHuynh How did the dual crown work out for you? I rode it last fall and my god the entire thing was nothing but braking bumps. Had arm pump by the mid section lol.
