  • I love, love, LOVE my StablO for urban sketching, watercolor on the go, and just plain keeping little fingers out of my stuff! A great shout out to Liz Steel whose blog turned me on to this wonderful wooden contraption from France.

You can see in the video that I have one brush holder, two cup holders, and two cups. It only comes with one cup holder and one brush holder. I purchased the cups and the extra cup holder separately.

Appreciate the realness of seeing tiny toddler hands getting all grabby. My toddler totally would.

This was the first review where I saw that the book actually clips on to the Stablo! I bought one based on your review with your link. Thanks. Hope I love it.

Never even seen this thing before. Now I feel I must have one! Thank you. 😊

Very nifty setup! I like that it uses magnets. FYI, another use for a bronze binder clip, with the circular hole, is to hold your waterbrush. I attach the clip to my sketchbook or my sketchboard. Then I put the cap, open side up, in the round part. This allows me to set the waterbrush in it loosely when I need to switch brushes, etc . This works best with Pentel Aquash, their caps are the perfect size and sit firmly in the clip.

@@beckysbantams Ha! So true! You really demonstrated the size and clearly how it works. Stablo's website doesn't seem to present it very well... And I also ultimately have to blame Liz Steel for spending more money!!

Love my stablo! Never thought to use a large spiral sketchbook like you did, thanks for the idea! I've just been using the mid sized landscape sketchbooks

Wetting your paints with the water brush ...excellent idea - dont need a spray bottle 👍

Maybe you can hot glue a extra one of your blue water containers to the brush holder that way the brushes or pens can sit safer and since the blue collapse watercup collapses it wouldnt be hard to transport with the who stablio set...just a thought....

Their site says 110 mL. It is a little less than 1/2 c.

What are the dimensions of the easel? I'm wondering if it will fit in my small art pack.
