Not trying to be a nit picker or a know it all. But I have over 15 years experience as a crew chief on the F-16. The "box" you were referring to in the wheel well is actually the aircraft battery and the bottle in the other wheel well is not an oxygen bottle. It's a halon bottle that is part of the fire suppression system. You did an excellent job on this kit. Now I want one of these as well as their DJ kit too!!

Thanks, great build review! I'm building this kit now, and every fit issue you had I had also, so glad to know it's not me. Under the wings, and that gap on the piece behind the front gear, the nose. It's a great kit overall. I sprung for the Eduard Space set and it went on great with the 3d printed instrument "decals". The way you did it with the kit decals looks really good though. Man those AIM-9Xs S-U-C-K. The AIM-120s looked way too complicated, so I used spares, but the HARMs went together surprisingly well given the number of parts they have.

Just a heads up, but those MFD (Multi Fumction Display) screens are only bright green like that when either the engine is running or if there is external electrical power applied to the aircraft and they are turned on for maintenance. Otherwise either a gloss black or a very dark green, almost black, would be accurate. The same goes for the small RHAW screen in the upper left instrument panel.

About the bird slicer antennas there's no way to please everyone. If you want them to mold it as a separate panel, they did in their old molds and it was a b!tch to align the top and side panels. At 13:27 even for a single panel you had to fill and sand. While molded bird slices on the nose and the beer cans on the slats you simply slice and sand flush, you don't need to deal with multiple panel alignment, filling and sanding and reescribing panel lines.

The "box" he refers to in the wheel well is actually the aircraft battery. He made a mistake painting it red because that's the color they paint a battery when it becomes unserviceable. In times past the aircraft battery should be painted blue. Nowdays they are pink, of all colors... And the bottle that he refers to as an "oxygen" bottle in the other side of the wheel well is actually a halon bottle. That is all the F-16 has for fire suppression.

Stiffening plates at the top of the fuselage and wing roots. The ECS vent can be easily scratch-built and the stiffening plates are available in p.e or vinyl from some after-market companies.

I tried to piant that with Prime Metal color from the Chinese brand JUMPWIND mixing with flat black, turns out to be a little grep with metal reflection you can see the real plane under the sun.
