IDK how we ended up in some random German kids career mode at Leverkusen but I'm so happy to be here
Great comment😂
That one made me laugh, but it is true!
Breaking the 4th wall I see...
You just know he's restarting the save literally every match, he ain't slick😂
Alonso is that Kid!
Alonso is 100% save scumming
Hahahahahah
Definitely
Save and reliad
🤣🤣🤣
No he's changing the sliders towards the end of the match
It is ACTUALLY insane how clutch Leverkusen has been.
Don't blame Xabi for wanting to continue that ride for as long as it lasts.
i think he wants to make a UCL push but he's probably gonna lose a few members of this team this summer
@@mikefun7482 atleast the important member still stay for xabi
hopefully he starts winning matches again
@@franze42 draws in the last 5 league games
@@mikefun7482 The opposite , the club has made it clear that they won't be disbanding this team , they already specifically said won't be selling Wirtz anytime soon...The hardest member to keep was Xabi Alonso , if he's staying , the others will be as well , keep in mind that its Simon Rolfe and Co. that brought and trusted Xabi even though he's unexperienced (on this level) and brought the other players as well , Even outside of Xabi , Leverkusen seem to be having a great project in the making , so we can be positive that this team will stay and even get upgraded next year.
The only question is how long can they keep it going...if they manage to get Xabi to stay for more years to come , they have an opportunity to create a new football dinasty.
Xabi is reloading after every defeat, to get at least a draw. Man is an FM genius.
From the way those games play out i'd say that he's in fifa and everytime he's about to lose, he plays with the enemy team ability modifier in the settings and scores a goal because the gk ability has been set to 0 lol
The fact it’s not the usuals Bayern Munich, Real Madrid doing this, and it’s an unexpected team makes it so much better
You could also do a video on Stuttgart, they are on the brink of qualifying for the Champions League while they have been in the relegation play off just last season. Their transformation has been immense thanks to Sebastian Hoeness
Its been one of the best bundesliga seasons ever!!
Stuttgart and Union switching places as always (Union won the relegation match against them to get to the BL, and last season qualified for CL)
Bundesliga has been so exciting this year. Started watching again because i noticed it wouldnt be a typical bayern munich dominates everything season. Im so hyped for the next seasons and hope that these clubs keep improving to stay 100% competitiv at the top
Guess who was next to them in the relegation spot last year?...Leverkusen , Last years relegation squad is crazy this year....
@@user-fr2jc8xb9g Nah, Leverkusen was never actually in relegation trouble last season, they started very bad under Seonane but were for sure one Germany's best teams. Still no one imagined them being able to actually win the Bundesliga this season so respect to Alonso
In Germany we used to joke about Edin Terzic dark magic (since he doesn’t seem to be a good coach, has a terrible style of football and still somehow got Dortmund to a UCL semi-final). Now we are speaking about Xabi Alonso black magic. Weird times in the Bundesliga
as it turns out bundesliga is not a farmers league, it's actually wizards league
Finde nicht dass man über Leverkusen noch reden muss.
@@tillnetthofel8595lol why not
And before that Union Berlin had the dark magic on their side. They were getting in the vvl and played so much worse than tersics Dortmund.
It's actually Blutzauber. I swear the red women from game of thrones live somewhere in the catacombs of BayArena

"It's M-c-E-l-h-e-double n-e-y, you probably f*** it up but give it a try."

You can also make a hole video about Stuttgart. The season is also incredible from 16 to 3
Zealand with no beard is crazy
Are you twelve? You’ve never seen a man shave before?
It took me so long to notice, i thought he had mumps virus.
What I feel falls short here is the role of VfB Stuttgart in this Bayer Leverkusen season, since both are the biggest surprises of this season in the Bundesliga (maybe even Europe). Not only a suprise in the table but also on the field, since both teams are playing just very good football. They played three matches this year (two in the Bundesliga and one in the DFB-Pokal). In all of these matches Stuttgart always was basically the closest of ending the undefeated season. Honestly, all of these matches were just damn good and very entertaining to watch.
It should also be mentioned, that both have a similar history of achieving this success. Both were in the bottom three of the Bundesliga last season, but saved themselves mostly due to their new managers (Alsonso and Höneß). Especially the way of playing football has changed drastically with both teams. Personally, I really think this season will change the way of playing in the Bundesliga once again to a more ball and possesion focused approach once again. Mostly thanks to VfB and Bayer!
It's even crazier when you noticed they have 2 clubs in their league which are in the semi-final of the Champions League
And both are second and fifth
@@styrishfernando1849 Soon to be third and fifth
For all the clueless EPL fans: This is the equivalent of someone taking Spurs to an unbeaten season everywhere after the coach took them over when fighting for relegation…
Ange Postecoglu was about to do it if it wasn't for the avalanche of key players injuries in that unfortunate chelsea match.
More like Bournemouth
Bro is really explaining it to premier leaguejaks as if they were retarded lmao
Xabi Alonso cannot be allowed to go to Real Madrid
the combined black magic will be too much for the entire world to dispel
Maybe 2 positives wiill give a negative this time and Real Madrid will do the worst run of their History...

Should have seen the Breton Derby between Rennes and Brest. It was absolutely insane from start to finish, and resulted in Brest's qualification for Europe for the first time in their 70+-year history
The scorer of the winning goal? Brassier 😂😂😂
@@obiwanmcrobbie1 Joking aside, the story of an academy player not being given any game with the senior squad and instead going on loan before finding a home elsewhere in the region, and then that player scoring the winning goal to send your neighbour to Europe while you drift away from contention is amazing

As my mate says, Neverlusen only start playing football after 88 mins have passed 😂
Fun fact: VfB Stuttgart was the first team to lead 2-0 against Bayer 04 this season
In the league qarabag did it in the europa league
Stutgart first team in bundesliga. Qarabag we’re 2-0 in europa league
@@TriggerMan0 As were A.S. Roma tonight (until the 83rd minute). Of course Leverkusen equalized in the 97th minute.
Due to the tight schedule and resulting fatigue issues, Xabi is often starting matches with three or five of the first eleven on the bench. He tries to rest Wirtz and Boniface and only throws them on when they have to save the match - and sure enough, it was Wirtz who delivered the free kick yesterday that Stuttgart were not able to clear. Absolute brainfart by the Stuttgart defender btw - in the 95th minute, you don't foul in that position and allow Wirtz that kind of opportunity.
Foul? Watch this again: Adli stretches his arm, HE grabs the Stuttgart defender and then acts like he has a seizure.
That wasn't a foul. And the referee in this match is known for his match fixing past.
Yeah people don't seem to realize That Xabi hasn't played with his best squad for a month now , all the very close matches had 2 or more important players not present in the squad...
Fun Fact: 46 consecutive unbeaten matches are exactly 69 hours* unbeaten football. Nice.
*plus extra time of course - (probably 420 Minutes)
If they actually manage to go undefeated... i'll buy my very first (expensive $129) football jersey.
Could have been worse, that home kit is a beauty
I said the same thing. Just out of respect, more than anything.
Good idea
Might be difficult I think, the jersey supply is low already

As an american who got into soccer in 2018. Im an FC Cincinnati fan cause i live here im a liverpool fan cause i loved firmino.. i think Neverloosin is gonna be my German team cause theyre so fun
Everything Everywhere All At Once is a pretty solid movie. Definitely worth watching.
When that free kick was given to Bayer I already knew they would score, but damn I screamed so hard and loud when this happened. And the face of Stutgart coach was priceless. He was like "What can we do?". That was brilliant game for Stutgart and still, it just wasnt enough
The secret of their success is one of these two things:
1. Ancient aliens
2. Black magic
I looked up the Leverkusen-Stuttgart score on my phone. It was 2-1 Stuttgart in the 92nd minute, and I knew Leverkusen was about to score
Same with A.S. Roma tonight. 0-2 behind after 82 minutes? Pah...
They did it again! Against AS Roma in the Europa League semi-final, Leverkusen is 0-2 behind, and then scores in the 83rd and 97th(!) minute (to win 4-2 on aggregate, and of course reach the final). 49 unbeaten games in a row means they've also broken Benfica Lissabon's record run of 48 games from the 1963/64 and 1964/65 seasons. Back then, Benfica had lost one match early into the 1963/64 Primeira Divisão season, and then remained unbeaten across all competitions until late into the 1964/65 campaign.
This is the longest such run since the introduction of UEFA club competitions (1955). The Scottish club Celtic F.C. had a run of 62 unbeaten games between April 1915 and April 1917 (under very different circumstances, during war time). No matter the circumstances, that's one of the few records Leverkusen hasn't broken yet.
Everything Everywhere All at Once is worth the headache, great movie
So watch it, drink it in.
What’s even more crazy: Alonso was saving players energy for Euros. Thus Tah and Wirtz (Germany) didn’t start, but Wirtz was subbed in for the last 15 minutes… and Xhaka wasn’t playing because of Switzerland. They looked weaker but they still scored those Equalizers 😂
No, not because of Switzerland. Xhaka was not allowed to play because against Dortmund he got his fifth yellow (which was debatably a yellow imo but that's beside the point). Missing Xhaka was really dangerous, because he's the midfield brain and ball distribution machine - but they pulled it off anyway, by the skin of their teeth.
Xhaka wasn't playing due to a suspension. He received a 5th yellow card during the Dortmund game the week before.
Simply unbelievable. Hard not to root for them.
What Z did not mention is the controversy that it should not have counted as there was a handball involved, and as per the rules (at least in the Bundesliga) no goal can be scored when a handball is involved, by accident or not.
Only if the goalscorer has a handball. Which he didn't
@@anonymouse8124 that's not correct, anyone from the goalscoring team, as long as it was during the attacking phase that led to the goal
@@schlauchflicker "It is an offence if a player:
• deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the
hand/arm towards the ball
• touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body
unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body
unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence
of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By
having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their
hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised
• scores in the opponents’ goal:
• directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the
goalkeeper
• immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental"
So correct decision by the Ref regarding the handball
@@bemu96 i checked and apparently there has been a rule change in 21/22 whereas it indeed is only a handball if it was the scoring player, at least from what I understand.
Looks like I was wrong then, apologies @anonymouse8124

Bayern Leverkusen doing the 'Alexander the Great' run.
The final match of the season for Leverkusen will be the DFB Pokal final. I think it would be funny if they won everything else, but then ended up losing to a team which may very well get relegated into the 3. Liga.
They are the team of destiny it seems, its actually unbelievable. I had doubts but now even I believe they are going to do it. That said the very end of this season will be insane as the cup final is very late for some reason and with the europa league final just days after its basically 2 finals in 4 days so if they actually do it will be crazy.
I watched the whole match and was sure it was over for Leverkusen when the stuttgart keeper went down after 4:30 of 5 mins added time. I was speechless… again. 🤯
I've been following and watching Leverkusen since February, I want them to go undefeated and break every record so bad, that yesterday's game i turned off the tv on the 85min, just couldn't watch them loose for the first time. 10min later i received a notification of the Leverkusen goal equalizer, i couldn't believe it, epic! This could be the greatest underdog to BiggestDog campaign of all time!
I had an opposite situation 😂 I forgot they were playing and then loaded the broadcast when they were 1:2 down and in stoppage time and instantly said to myself “yep, I’m about right on time to witness their equalizer” and whaddayathink happens next 😂
It's incredible but also explainable. In most games Leverkusen wears the opponent completely down physically and mentally with high possession and constant pressing. Add to that their insane will to never give up, and you have this insane result of 46-0 and 21 goals after the 86th minute.
Make that 49-0 and 23. In the matches that were played since, Leverkusen scored in the 89th and 97th minute. Against A.S. Roma tonight, Leverkusen were 0-2 behind until the 83rd minute, and like against Stuttgart, they turned things around literally in the last minute.
I was in the stadium for both the Dortmund and Stuttgart game and couldnt believe my very eyes.
Its Alonso's world and we live in it fr
It actually already started before the West Ham Match, against Qarabag for example it was crazy in both games
For all three of these matches I tuned in late to the match while they are down and I saw the comeback
Xabi has learned the dark arts from Ancelotti and Zidane, no doubt.
Dude i'm pretty sure Xabi Alonso do Save Scumming in real life this season ! ! !
Imagine alonso does a Zidane and retires 😂😂😂
If Leicester was 5000:1 to win the prem, then Leverkusen is 20000:1 to win every trophy being unbeaten. That faithful Leverkusen fan who always puts bet year in year out on Leverkusen to win all trophies might gonna have a nice paycheck in May.
Predicting that Leverkusen would equalise late is like predicting that the Roadrunner will escape Wile E. Coyote. It's not that big a gift, you have there...😅
Have you been watching the semi-final against A.S. Roma tonight? Leverkusen was behind 0-2 until the 83rd minute. I kept telling my friends not to worry, and that the game hasn't started yet 😂
Leverkusen equalized in the 97th minute.

The Ref Came in clutch for leverkusen. Literally every call went in Leverkusens favor.
Funnily enough the cup match between Stuttgart and Leverkusen has been screwed by a referee as well (andrich shouldn't have been on the pitch for a solid 50 minutes)
Stuttgart is very good this season
Borussia Dortmund-Fan (and sufferer) here; when Xavi and Neverloosin' played Stuttgard and they were trailin' two goals I said to my goirls friend something like "Who's goin' to explain it to Stuttgart that they will have to be content with that one point from the draw that this match will be?" When came what so inevitably had to happen I just sat as paralysed as before when they pulled that same stunt off against us.... - I just couldn*t speak, couldn't scream - couldn't do just anything !
Does Xavi Alonso have children of hiss own? If so, I'm sure he's made a deal with the devil, involving the soul of his first-born...
Greetings from a Schalke-fan (and sufferer)!
The same happened to me tonight, watching the match against A.S. Roma. Leverkusen were 0-2 behind until the 83rd minute. I told my friends that the match hasn't even started yet. Of course Leverkusen equalized in the 97th minute.
You may be right about the deal with the devil. I guess we'll know when they play the "red devils" in the cup final...
Zealand without a beard looks like that Monster with Big Lips from Monsters Inc
I'm a stuttgart fan and while I was obviously annoyed when they equalised a minute after the referee should have ended the game, but part of me was happy that the unbeaten season was still on. I will be extremely upset now if they go and lose against Bochum or Augsburg. If Lautern do it in the cup final though that would be great tbh.
Without a beard Zealand looks like the live action version of Mr. Incredible.

Their match against Dortmund and then Stuttgart were insane
I´m going to call you Melisealandre with the prophetic tweets.
Hey, babe, a new zealandism video dropped.
But on a side note, did Zealand shaved? I feel like there needs to be missing posters around New York for Zealand's facial hair.
The closest any club ever got to this achievement was 1994-95 Ajax that won the champions league and domestic league unbeaten. But they still lost in the quarter finals of the cup. So it's been 30 years since then and Leverkusen of all teams are the ones who could beat the record.
Xabi alonso clearly prays to the fm gods
Well, Roma is at the moment the one to really put a stop to their unbeaten run, since they were literally the ones to knock out Leverkusen in the Europa-League last year. This feels like a Final Boss Setup.
They lost for the first time in a while against Bologna so hopefully it throws them off their current good form , Also last year , it was a Mourinho special so there is an * on that elimination because of the cup competions GOAT...

Celtic Glasgow did the domestic treble invincible in 2016-17 (yes I know, Scotland. Though). However, their European record was awful, starting off with a defeat in qualifiers against Lincoln Imps from Gibraltar. Straight after that Gibraltar loss (12 July 2016, their first competitive match of the season) I bet you could have got amazing odds on the domestic treble alone, let alone invincible domestic treble!!!
