On 21 April 2024, Yaadgar Taraane Band, Mumbai had organisaed a program of Talat Mahmood songs to pay tribute on the Centenary Year of this legendary singer, in the city of Chennai.
I rendered the song - “Milte Hi Ankhen Dil Hua Diwana Kisika” from the 1950 film 'Babul' - with my co-singer, the ever popular stage singer of Chennai, Ms. Usha Raj. This peppy romantic duet sung by Talat Mahmood and Shamshad Begum was composed by the legendary Music Director Naushad.
