On 21 April 2024, Yaadgar Taraane Band, Mumbai had organisaed a program of Talat Mahmood songs to pay tribute on the Centenary Year of this legendary singer, in the city of Chennai.
I rendered the song - “Aha Rimjhim Ke Ye Pyare Pyare Geet Liye” from the 1960 film 'Usne Kaha Tha' - with my co-singer, the ever popular stage singer of Chennai, Ms. Usha Raj. This is a foot-tapping and peppy romantic duet composed by the legendary Music Director Salil Chowdhury.
