It looked like a little brother punching his big brother and not hurting him at all. Of course Nitty got more reactions. His material is easy to digest
I gave rum the 1st the closest round imo was the 2nd I gave it to lux 3rd round rum was short I gave that to lux as well
8:00 I whole heartedly agree. The first round is always the "feel out" process (pause). The person who goes first is the person that has to read the room, while rapping, and gauge what they are receptive to. The person who raps second can immediately make the adjustment, based on the analysis of how the room reacted to the rapper that went first. So if the first rapper didn't set the tone, where their energy level was high and they had the crowd really engaged, then it's smooth sailing for the second rapper. Battle rap crowds will mainly remember what the second person said and give them the round, just because they rapped last. The one who raps first has to be above and beyond, or the second rapper has to be very mediocre, for the crowd to think the first rapper won that round. Recency bias, in a way.

I watched the battle about 7 times, honestly. I been catching bars on both sides on every re-watch. Nitty edged the first. The second was close but we got abducted for Lux. The third was Lux clear....not even close. Lux 2-1 but nitty second was also fire, he would have won the second vs anyone else.....but Lux is Lux.
Funny..I often times juggle the idea of becoming a journalist/vlogger for the BRC & this was a conversation I had during the watch party. Rum moving around like that, constant chatter with the crew, interactions with Lux team, laughing & making faces..all part of the New Gen of battle rap. It's a technique that can throw off most mediocre battlers but God Tier sees it as female actions & proceeds to walk you down. So the 2nd rd what we see is Lux adjusting to what he peeped but Nitty saw the adjustment too late. #fightmechanics

Only now is it not seen as corny but there was a time that you needed to stand face to face with the bars and disrespect. That's part of the battle..can you withstand? You can tell he was trying his best to deflect, in a way to get the fans to think Lux isn't saying much. A defensive tactic, but one that doesn't work against someone like Lux.
