I've noticed also of their high outside cameras on the outside of the UNIVERSITY. do not light a flashlight or a Fire. Please, do not even burp or hiccup or Fart or sneeze either. This stealth camping adventure was stressful, lol. I was worried you'd get caught. Looked cold. It has you sleeping with the poop and wandering mice, lol. It made me laugh when you were scurrying into the trees being all sneaky with a bright orange bag in your hand, hahha. 🤣Awesome video! 🙂👍

I love sammiches with extra mayo and mustard, hate dry ones. I have a smaller Mr. Buddy heater, works pretty good when doing a weekend fishing camp. I am a bit to old to do the stealth camping, but sometimes my friend and I will pick a spot that's not exactly open to campers. We carry camouflage netting to toss over the tent and throw some brush or small branches to break up the outline. DNR snuck up on us once while we were fishing, checked our licenses, they had a blind set up about 75 yards away. But we were breaking no laws, and hadn't caught any fish, but it was a good 2 nighter. Keep up the good vids, and keep your head low!! lol

A coyote can make up to 11 different sounds. One coyote can sound like a pack of coyotes.

Bad ass! Glad that Lil Mr. Buddy worked out, I'm winter tarp camping with one soon and never tested. Guess you can rig a woodstove fan on the grill so it pushes more heat at you.
Nice! It works well, would work better if i closed the shelter. There's only so much ambient heat around it. Cool little thing, though!
Glad to see I'm not the only one doing this! I'm in Otsego County NY, so yeah... short grilling season. Cooked some ribeyes last weekend on the coals, at a leanto in the Catskills. Think I'll take the Porta grill out this weekend

Lol I feel like if I camp anywhere in a 5 mile radius of my area spots I would smell poop from either the water treatment or the dump. But my biggest worry is more the bugs and a tarp wouldn't do with the size of our mosquito's and nasty critters. I've never seen anyone do a stealth camp with netting which is definitely what I would need to sleep tight.
I need netting during some months, for sure! When it's 25 I'm not too worried 😎

Awesome camp! Maybe get a camo tarp, kinda would keep you hid alittle better maybe lol. I use a bivvy bag with my sleep system a lot of the times and just a small camo army poncho and it’s super small light weight and actually is very roomy underneath and especially with the bivvy you just can’t go wrong! Great video I was on edge with you when u first started lol.
I probably would have stood out MORE in that spot with camo 😂
Kevin I know this may seem dumb, but if you decide to use the mr buddy heater in a fully enclosed setup in the future, make sure you bring a carbon monoxide detector. The mr buddy heater does have automatic shutoff when low oxygen is detected, but it’s better safe then sorry! Great little heaters!

I was at my little fort yesterday and I was rolling this huge log that I cut because I'm going to make boards out of it for a raised bed since my old ass can't sleep on the branches I originally made it out of because they're too bumpy. It made a big racket and I also got an oy. There's no way to see where I was clearly and there are tons of animals in the area so I only worry so much about that kind of thing. However, I did hear a helicopter coming and so I checked Flightradar24. Usually, the helicopters that fly that path are the medical ones since my spot is located roughly between trauma 1 and trauma 2 medical centers, which the trauma 1 hospital being the closest. This time, however, it was the ghetto bird, the county sheriff! Even worse, they had flown a direct path towards my fort! Since I know there are other animals in the bush with me, plus trees obscure both the ability to see you visually and even thermally, I dove under some trees that were already growing over at an angle, since there are a lot of trees like that in the area, and stayed right under one of the trunks. I put both hands underneath me so as to obscure the obvious heat signature of hands (not that most po po helis have thermal camera but some do) and I stayed perfectly still there as they circled around and around for a while.
They might have been able to see the huge log I had been rolling but I was hidden a ways away from that because I heard the ghetto bird and confirmed that it was a ghetto bird before it cleared the ridge to be able to see me. They flew into the next country, which they never normally do, did a circle, and then made another pass near my location but, by that time, I was onto them and knew they were coming back because I could watch them on Flightradar24. I absconded in a different, better location too. Then, once I saw they had landed, I rolled my big log the rest of the way to my fort, hid it, and started a fire out of spite. lol I also wanted to experiment with this Japanese technique of slightly charring wood in order to protect it from bugs and the elements. I had no problems after that but it was getting dark and I know our local cops only fly their helicopters at night if there's something really big going on. They fly around for shits and giggles in the day but they definitely got a call about me because basically the only thing they did was fly around my fort, diverting off for a short time, probably in hopes that I was some kind of dumb ass without Flightradar24 on my phone. The other thing about the night is that I noticed that more medical helicopters fly into the hospitals then too, perhaps because our already shitty drivers become much shittier after dark.
I've actually had the cops fly over several times. Sometimes hiding form them is as hilarious as simply standing on the other side of a big tree from them and walking around the tree as they circle around in the sky. lmao Oh I forgot to mention that they even pretended to fly as if they were going to land on the hospital. Maybe they don't know that their transponder alerts everyone with flight app that they are the local county sheriffs and not any of the air medical companies. If I ever see a plane without obvious transponder information, I doubly hide for those ones because they have to be secret military operations since even the regular military aircraft tell you what they are. All of them have information on location, speed, and altitude though since this isn't restricted airspace. If you want to see something really funny, look at the Las Vegas airport, find an aircraft taking off that's called JANET, watch it fly the regular corridor until it gets parallel with the base at Area 51, and then watch its transponder go off either before or after it turns towards the base there. It's hilarious! They can turn it off there because there's a huge area of restricted airspace there. They fly in the workers at Area 51 on those 737s in the morning and back in the evening every weekday and sometimes there are more flights, including ones further nothing where they test various weapons in the restricted airspace. When I was homeless, I used to watch them do that all the time.

I am repeatedly amused at what qualifies as "forest" in your area. No trees bigger than 4 inches.
I camp in urban areas, most forests weren't forests until 40-50 years ago. Having said that, I camped next to an enormous Maple in this video, probably 3-4 ft in diameter :)
Everywhere is the same on areas close to houses.. people go walk around with the dog when there's back home. Not much problems to stealth camp there.. i did it in such places and i was way more relax.. best way to be stealth is to act normaly...not like a fugitive.
Can't wait to get back to camping haven't been able to caz of license issues but should have my license back next week. I can't really camp anywhere in my town caz homelessness is a big problem in my town and my overall gear is close to 500$ and I'm not willing to lose that or have to hurt someone so i don't lose it.
