Fun watching but I have to throw a penalty flag on the call because comparing to base cards of each player was not the right call in my opinion. And that is an apples versus apples when what we really have is an apples and oranges case. One is a numbered rookie patch auto. Where the other is a non-numbered auto so the gap is a lot closer. I think you need to do a deep dive on this. 😂
Having a havoc card is a great idea! Joey and I did this with our couples box battle. And a loser had to sleeve all the cards. Thanks for sharing!

Willis RPA /249 easy winner
Numbered auto patch of Malik wins over a base Pickett any day of the week
Negative. Willis didn't look good at all and may not even be the starter next year. Pickett wasn't great but he is THE guy in Pittsburgh and got better as the year went.

Everybody trashing on Malik Willis. Pickett auto was definitely the better card as of now, but Willis is a project QB. Pickett had 3 good receiving targets to throw to in all his games, while Willis had absolutely nobody. Not to mention, Pittsburgh is far and away a better coached team. If Tennessee actually gets some playmakers on the outside and decides to stop trading away top tier WR talent to go draft a far worse version, that RPA of Willis could be a great card.
As a non biased person who isn't a fan of either team or player from that matter, I would 1000% rather have the Pickett. The Willis is a nicer card ( with a fake patch however lol), but Pickett is just a better QB at the moment.

I have that same 49er player patch auto from a different stuff. This stuff looks nice but expensive. Just the way I like the cards!!! This looks like some good stuff I need to make it down to the card shop lol

Phoenix is a beyond attainable set. Offering impeccable and nat'l treasure style cards. Not a pats fan die hard panther. But seeing a piece of stidhams helmet with his auto in a box I bought for my birthday is exciting.

No it isn't. Next time you might want to make the villainous cards real villains like Brady and Mahomes. Or have each breaker pick one villain each that only applies to their opponent. The amount of packs lost depending on how big the hit. Base card=no loss
Numbered-lose 1 pack
Auto- lose 1 pack
Patch or mem-lose 1 pack
Making a villain pull a possible loss of anywhere between 0 and 3 packs if you happen to pull a numbered patch auto of the player designated the villain by your opponent.
A different kind of twist would be to add a little poker face feel to the box battle. Each breaker is allowed one strike. How it would work is that after each pack is opened your opponent has the option to allow the pack to remain in play which then gives your opponent the option of keeping a card from his pack. However if the opponent noticed something that makes him think there is something special in that pack he can strike that pack from play meaning the breaker would then not be allowed to choose a card from that pack but each breaker is allowed only 1 strike. The fun part being the breakers would have to keep their excitement and emotions under control so as to not tip off their opponent that they have hit a big card. Another strategy would be to bluff that you hit something good in order to possibly suck your opponent into burning his strike when you actually don't have much.

I thought the same thing at first. But if this were to have played out where the boxes weren’t both 🔥it would add more risk the longer you hold out. Which could make two bad boxes a little more fun to watch. These just happened to be two of the best boxes I’ve seen so far 😅.

When you consider a Malik Willis RPA a hit, the hobby, or just lots of collectors, have gone crazy. Who is paying high dollar for garbage player cards? I’d take the most basic Mahomes rookie card off eBay over a lame RPA 1/1 etc any day that someone thinks is worth $500 😂 just look at no name rookies from 5-10 years ago and see them selling for $10-20 on a good day
Its relative, John. Look over the checklist for the product and determine the 5 to 10 best pulls, Malik Willis RPA is one of them. Of course that doesn't stack up to a Mahomes rookie, but there aren't any Mahomes rookies in 2022 Phoenix football.
