I have a buddy who really loves that gym. When he comes down, he always makes a point to do two or three days in a row there. If I ever make the move to Gulf Shores anytime soon, I am certainly going to check it out.

Anything workout related that you hate does you the most good. We tend to hate things that that cause us to exert lots of energy and those things are usually the most beneficial to us. That was my experience and what I was always told when I could work out anyways. I just wish I could work out now. Major injuries put the damper on that.
@@BamaBeachBum I’m going to be in Florida I didn’t think about it but the water may be clear and for bass I use a lot of Fluro. Do you recommend using 50 pound fluro or will mono be ok for the clear water too. I’m coming at the end of September so hopefully jacks run then and maybe some reds?

Is 30 pound braid to a 50 pound mono leader too light for trying to catch Jacks in the surf or do I definitely need to upgrade to 40 pound braid?
30lb braid to 50lb leader is exactly what I use for jacks!
