My heart was broken for Josh after the Chiefs game!! That guy did EVERYTHING for his team and had one of the grittiest & greatest performances I’ve ever seen in the playoffs!! He thought he had won the game for the Bills TWICE, only to see his #1 ranked defense cave like the Bills in the Super Bowl!! This man and that city deserve a Super Bowl win!!
This year was so much worse than last year. But I have faith they will be the next dynasty

Does anyone here know what the deal is with Josh and his baby mama? I find it weird that NO ONE has brought up the issue of Josh's Ex girl finding text messages from the baby mama, including the sonogram. This had to be on his mind. He looked like a lost soul during the Cincy game. Rumors of the police showing up to Josh's house during the week of the Cincy game. Maybe the night before. Also, a murmur that Diggs was pissed at Josh cuz his head wasn't into the game, due to this drama.

Watching this 6 days after Josh played the first perfect game in NFL history, against Bill Bellichek's NE Patriots. Josh is what we've been waiting for about 20 years here in Buffalo. This kid is the definition of a winner, so much heart and everything you could want in a QB. He faced alot of adversity, and had a rough rookie season.... But you could see the talent was there. Now he has shattered records week in and out lately after doing what a guy like him does - he works on what needs to be worked on. We were lucky to have Jim Kelly when we did, but we're truly blessed to have Josh. Best QB in the league IMO and barely entering his prime. Props to his family for raising such a great kid. We love you Josh! Our QB1!!!
Allen's journey to Buffalo actually began in 2014 when the Bills finally got excellent ownership in Terry and Kim Pegula. The former late owner Ralph Wilson would hire "Yes" men who Wilson made sure kept expenses down. This included J.P. Losman (drafted #23 in 2004 by the useless GM Tom O'Donohoe" and another bust E.J. Manuel (drafted #13 by another tool GM Doug Whaley). HC Sean McDermott and GM Brandon Beane having worked together in Carolina knew what they were looking for and despite criticism for drafting Allen #7 in 2017 they recognized what raw talent he had
@@bufnyfan1 I always felt Wilson gave up in his later years, I think losing 4 Superbowls eventually took the wind out of his sails and the generosity out of his checkbook. There was no doubt Josh has raw unpolished talent, and I'm glad our new staff realized he was not only coachable and smart but also has a lions heart and will fight all the way to the last second of every game. People say we got lucky - and we did - but not because we got Josh, but because we had people who believed in him. All diamonds look like crap until they are cut & polished, and the better the jeweler the better the results - same thing went for the Buffalo Bills. We took a shot because the brass saw something in a kid alot of others going all the way to college overlooked - and now he's arguably the best QB in the league (he's the best right now IMO) all because he was given a chance and always stayed humble and coachable. Never stops learning, and never says he is even playing his best football. He will have a career game most can only dream of full of highlight reels and stats, and then go out there and do the same or better the next week. There's nothing not to love about #17, and I'm glad the Pegulas trust enough in BBB and McDermott to pick and choose as they feel necessary. I doubted "the process" at first. Now it seems genius to me.
@@billcollector5983 Wilson only cared about making money. Bill Polian (who built the Super Bowl teams) was only hired because he came "cheap". The previous GM had a heart attack and Wilson wanted to hire the next GM from within the organization as it would save money to have someone already under contract (no negotiations for salary). The fact that Polian turned out to be a genius in assessing talent was just serendipity. Then what does Wilson do?? he fires Polian in 1993 because Polian didn't get along with the team's treasurer (Jeff Lipton). It was from that point on that the Bills went into a long tailspin. Even when they made the playoffs by luck in 1999 Wilson interfered again and demanded that a poor QB (Rob Johnson) be started over Doug Flutie and the Bills lost the "Music City Miracle" game. Then it was 17 straight losing seasons. I always knew during that time that it would take new ownership to change the Bills' fortunes (and that also meant getting rid of every single leftover from Wilson's regime). As it turned out that was exactly what happened--the Pegulas bought the team and changed the whole culture of the organization.
As a long time Bills fan in Australia, I can't wait for the season to begin. Let's Go Bills!!!

His parents raised a fantastic kid. He's a winner on and off the field. I'm so glad he's on our team here in Buffalo, he's humble and never gives up and that's what Buffalo is all about.

Good Job, being a Wyoming native I watched every snap Josh ever took since playing for UW. We saw things that were simply unbelievable and yet no one else in the country noticed. Now that he has decent players around him, you haven't seen nothing yet.
I'm a bills fan that grew up in Idaho. I had a friend going to Wyotech, got to watch Josh alot. First thing that stood out about him wasn't his arm strength, it was his grit, just a gutsy guy that would do anything to try and win. When he beat BSU, I was there....wearing a bills hat.
@@rogerritch5796 We had never beat BSU before, I mean ever. BSU was and still is on a whole other level. That was definitely the highlight of Josh's time in Wyoming.

I went to U of I, so I was pretty jacked they beat the Broncos. I was just as excited when Buffalo drafted him, wasn't sure how good he'd be, but knew he'd do anything to try and win.
@@rogerritch5796 Agreed, in Wyoming we didn't know just how strong his arm was compared to NFL quarterbacks. What we did see was the most grit and will to win of any athlete, at any position and sport. He had total crap players around him, yet managed to pull off amazing things with them. His first year in Buffalo was kinda the same thing. The kid played with good players last year for the first time in his life. Excellent documentary.

I don't know if Josh or his parents will ever see this comment, but you guys raised a fantastic young man. Always humble, always giving 110%, even congratulating his opponents when he's clearly upset over a loss like the Texans game. He is the perfect face of Buffalo, always overcoming adversity and always fighting for the win no matter how good the opponent is you always have a good chance of winning with Josh in there. We love him here, and I hope he plays his entire career here just like our last legend Jim Kelly. And whoever made this documentary - you did a fantastic job. Excellent video. Extremely well done! I was the radio play-by-plat announcer for Reedley College in 2014 when Josh played there. We would sit in the press box watching the QB's warm up and we couldn't figure out why Josh wasn't playing. He had a cannon! After the team started 1-2, Josh finally got his chance toward the end of the first quarter in game 4, and threw for one touchdown and ran for 161 yards and 4 TD's. Needless to say, he was the starter the rest of the season. He had a great season, and was a very low-key and quiet star. All of us in Reedley are very proud of his success, and can't wait to see him lead the Bills to a title soon!

Josh Allen is truly one of a kind. I have come to love the dynamic between him and Diggs. As a saints fan I still have respect for diggs because of his game and talent even though he shattered my heart in that playoff walkoff in Minnesota.

That was simply a beautiful documentary, just beautiful.
What is important to note in the press conference after losing to the Chiefs is that Josh Allen was not resigned to the fact that he lost to a better team. (I am a Chiefs fan BTW.) Josh Allen is not going to let the Chiefs get into his head. This is the difference between the Bills and the rest of the AFC. They are the only team, IMO, that is likely to beat the Chiefs in the AFC championship game.
It's gonna be like the colts pats in the early 2000s two amazing qbs dualing it out for the conference championship or playoff games in the future

Dude is an inspiration. Great documentary! This was suggested to me after the heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs. I'm a Hawks fan, but, geez - first of all, the NFL *HAS* to change the post-season OT rules. Second, I know it can be the heat of the moment, but this was the best football game I've ever seen (I watch this since 1991)... and unfortunately, the game was decided on the coin toss, because the QBs were pretty much perfect, and I felt really sorry for him, considering how well he played, not only regarding skills, but heart! I sincerely hope Josh Allen still wins a Super Bowl *in Buffalo* .
No they don't the Bengals proved there's no flaws in the rules. You got to play defense....
Especially since the bills had the #1 defense across the board basically. Allen needs to put that blame on his defense and be firm with it.

I remember how impressed I was when, after the AFC Championship loss, JA put the blame on himself. As I recall, the consensus at the time was that the main reason the Bills lost was because the defense couldn't contain Mahomes and company. What a class act! I hope this is his year to put all of the doubters, haters and naysayers in their place once and for all. A Superbowl ring oughta do the trick! Billieve it.

There's a play hardly anybody knows about that Josh was apart of at Wyoming. He threw an interception from the 15 yard line, and it looked to be a pick 6. Josh pursued the defensive back and forced a fumble into the endzone for a touchback. Was my favorite thing seeing the quarterback of the team make the score saving play rather than how most act, unbuckling their helmet and walking to the sideline. Wish it had more media coverage.

I was a kid in the 90’s and it crushed my hopes for football. Watching Josh play, 2 days before a rematch, has brought my family back to the game. But now with my kids watching with me.

I am biased, since I was born in Bflo in 1966- to young to remember J. Kemp play, but absolutely remember J. Ferguson and the others that followed. I recall sitting in the rain at Rich Stadium watching the Bills loosing every game except for the Baltimore Colts. That was when it was a 14 game season. There were less fans there than the Covid-19 games. I could go on, but my main thoughts here are that this kid is the greatest QB to wear a Bills uniform in Orchard Park since J. Kelly (perhaps greater- only time will tell) also, a phenomenal documentary... so psyched for the '21-22 season!
