Some fantastic comments here guys. Love learning so much about this. Really appreciate the feedback. We will look for more in depth ones and have another go. More with the bands too! Cheers guys!
I recommend reacting to the craziest college football crowd reactions
Was a rivalry
In Kansas and I love watching your guys’ videos! It’s super cool to see your real interest and curiosity shine through.
Ohio State vs Xichigan is the biggest rivalry in all of college sports. OSU students won’t even mention the name of “that team up north” and spend the entire week prior to the game crossing out every letter M on campus. The OSU band does Script OHIO, and the fans sing Hang On Sloopy every game.
You need to look up Ralphie's Run at University of Colorado. That's a crazy tradition.
"There must have been about 4,000 people watching a high school game" some Texas high school stadiums seat 20,000+
I remember seeing a stadium on my way from Austin area to Dallas and I saw a stadium that looked like a college stadium but was a high school
Especially is Texas and Florida. Playoff games are packed.
@@chrisbarnesbarnes8332
My high schools cross town rivalry game was always packed
Some people would even tailgate bbq and all
I moved to Texas from California and man it was so cool to see even small schools out here in Texas are nice and have nice football fields.
My high school only seated 8,000 in Pa. I saw a video/tv documentary where some Texas high school stadiums run $50M+ to build. Edit: It is a quad A school with a good program, so every single home game is packed more than the seating.
The jump around at University of Wisconsin actually shows up on therichter scale an earthquake over a mile away. You can feel it at bars around the stadium, it actually made them reinforce the stadium. They tried to shut the whole thing down in fear it was going to collapse the stadium, it sways the stadium lol.
Can confirm, I used to live about a mile down the road and when watching from home you could see water shaking like the damn t rex scene from jurassic park
Been jumping in that place many times
@@williampeck7252 you serious??
All that jumping and no championships or playoff appearances.
I love being a Wisconsinite baby
Trust me. That Tennessee crowd was 102,455 strong and they're ridiculously loud in there. A player from that game talked about how he could feel the noise in his skin.
Had season Tix there 3 decades...when Tennessee was relevant. Yeah , Neyland has registered on Richter Scales MILES away. On several occasions.
Thats how LSU is it feels like being trapped in a drum
That’s not that many people
@@juliaalvarez537 it was definitely that many people. Stadium holds 102,455 and that game was sold out
There’s a game today and the stadium is sold out and it’s checker the stadium day so you know it’s going to be crazy
Can’t believe Florida State University’s tradition of Chief Osceola riding out on the field on Renegade, the horse, and stabbing the lit spear in the ground is left out of the video.... One of the most well known traditions in college football and a truly meaningful one with the actual unconquered Seminole Tribe of Florida playing a huge role in the process of the tradition.
Shit sucks
I go to the university of Iowa! The tradition is that at the end of the first quarter, the whole stadium turns away from the field to focus on something bigger than football. The best part is that even the opposing team contributes and participated in the tradition. For about 5 minutes, nothing is bigger than the kids!
its a really unique tradition i think everyone really respects iowa for. PSU fan here
@@EuroMaidanWasAnInsurrection because nobody respects their football team!
@@blakewestwood8096 lol us Americans always gotta throw some shade 😂😂 come on man it’s for the kids
As an Iowa Hawkeye fan, I was thrilled to see our tradition lead off the video
And that more people can be exposed to such a special thing.
70k strong turning to wave and support those kids
Brings a tear to your eye every time.
I’m an iowa Hawkeye fan who does “the wave” that’s the very first clip, it’s cool to see on a screen but it’s unbelievable in person. Knowing kids who got to see the wave from the hospital, it’s a big morale boost and gives them something to look forward.
It's honestly hard not to get emotional when you are at the stadium experiencing it. It really is so rare to be apart of something so pure with so many people
One of the most beautiful traditions in all of sports.
Me too, Alex. It's awesome. We get it every home game, and it's amazing every time.
Former HMB member here. Couldn't agree more :)
I teared up the first time I got to take part in it
Some of the largest stadiums in America, and even the world, aren’t pro football stadiums but rather college football stadiums with over 100,000 available seats. Not even room with standing space, but actual seats for tickets to be sold for spectator attendance
Same with Nascar daytona seats over 100,000
@@angrybob8126 I think Indy has the record at over 300k which includes the infield
Of the 10 largest stadiums (by capacity) in the world, 8 of them are American college football stadiums: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stadiums_by_capacity
Neyland, Kyle Field, The Shoe, The Big House, Beaver Stadium...that's just 5 I can think of right now that I know hold over 100K people. It's unreal and I love it!
As a student at Penn state we had benches in the student section though we would stand on the benches for most of the games.
I’m from Iowa. I hate the Hawkeyes cause I’m an Iowa State fan, but that’s the best tradition of any sports team. And being there in person is even better. Brings tears to your eyes every time. Sending some love from the US. Love your videos
fun fact: Every saturday (pre-covid) the stadium at Michigan University is the 5th largest populated "city" in the state. (111,000!)
At Nebraska its 3, we win.
@@dash4800 Doesn't Nebraska's Memorial Stadium seat around 90,000 at most?
Michigan Stadium 107,000. Always full 9n game day. GO BLUE!
@Matt B I totally misinterpreted the statement. I somehow thought he was saying it fit more people than Michigan's stadium.
@@_AJK_1 90, maxed out ~95
But the gameday commerce makes it 3. Detroit is a big city.
Best part about the Iowa Wave is it gives EVERYONE an uplift..... from the kids fighting their fight to those simply waving because we all feel good trying to make someone's day.
I'm an Iowa alumni, the wave is just such an incredible tradition. It may not be an old tradition but I really believe it has a true impact on those kids and their families. Proud to be a Hawkeye! 🖤💛🖤💛

Well, I guess you have to find something to be proud of. ROLL TIDE
"The Wave" is so special. Ive experienced the wave in the stadium and in the hospital. The Childrens hospital is so nice too.
It’s so awesome, makes Iowa games even more special
@@gohawks415 Damn straight. When i was hospitlized, i would go on somber night walks to the childrens hospital
I didn't know this tradition. I clicked on this video expecting football hits or cheers...
That first video was a totally unexpected gut-punch of emotion!!!
(what a great tradition!!)
The children in the hospital don’t taste as good as the ones in the stadium trust me
@@hollisbotgamingandoutdoors7089 Hospitals don't serve fried food unfortunately.
On the Tennessee clip, it's important to note not only the fight song being sung by over 100k fans, but the checkerboard pattern of the fans in the stands. It was one of the first times it was attempted, where the fans looked up where their seats were to see whether to wear orange or white. This was an homage to the checkboard pattern in the end zones, an iconic look for their field for decades.
Y Tennessee is special and there back again
@@trevorrogers8092 I always point out that half of Texas was founded by Tennessee Volunteers. My personal allegiance is to Georgia, Alabama and Virginia, but I'll always give Tennessee its props.
In the Tennessee bit the crowd is singing a song called "Rocky Top."
and the orange white checkerboard the stadium
The reactors completely missed the checkerboard coordination of the 100,000 fans in the stadium. 😄
Running through the T would have been better.Ever notice when Alabama sings Dixieland Delight the song is about A Tennessee Saturday night?😆
looks like a garbage man convention
“Rocky Top , you’ll always be… home sweet home to me… Good ol Rocky Top…(Woooo).…Rocky Top Tennessee!”
The Iowa wave is, by far and it's not close, the greatest tradition in college sports. And I say this as a Michigan fan. Absolutely fantastic new tradition they started there.
I partially agree. Virginia techs entrance to enter sandman takes the cake in my book (gives me chills). Iowa wave is the very close second though.
The newest tradition in college football is going to Ann Arbor and kicking the $HIT out of UM.
@@jeffreymcfadden9403 man, really good original joke you have there captain smooth brain.
I am going to say the singing of the losing teams Alma Mater by the winning team at the end of the Army Navy games tips it out
Miami fan here and i 100% agree this is the best tradition
Iowa hawkeyes wave at the end of the 1st quarter, the absolute cool thing is the visiting team and coach's turn around and wave also
God Bless the Iowa Hawleyes
Can't beat the IOWA wave to the kids in the hospital next to the stadium. Best new tradition in college football.
I’m from Iowa. If it touches your hearts when we turn to the kids hospital, multiply that feeling by 1,000 and you’ll feel what it feels like to be there. It’s simply amazing!
The Tennessee fans are singing an old country song called “Rocky Top” and it goes “rocky top you’ll always be home sweet home to me, good ole rocky top, rocky top Tennessee”
You forgot to put the WOOO! in between good ole rocky top and rocky top Tennessee. Go Vols!
I thought they were showing it because of the pattern in the stands
@@al2644 that's actually a new tradition led them 5yrs old. But its really really cool when they do it.

I think you guys would enjoy the rivalry between Ohio Dtate and Michigan. Its a longer video but a great tradition
If they want to go to sleep!!
@@jjstanding7314 You must not be a college football fan then.
Oh how I hate Ohio State. Go Blue
OHIO
Buckeye here, HIGHLY recommend!!!!!
The Virginia Tech intro has to be experienced at least once! The entire stadium shakes from all of the jumping. It's amazing.
The HOKIES entrance is a separate experience on its own. When your entrance hits 3.5 on the Richter scale you know it’s epic.
Agreed, it's so much fun being there. I worried about because the stadium was shaking lol
The Mississippi State game, the story is that during a game in the early 1900s, a cow wandered onto the field during a game and they had to herd it off the field and the team ended up winning the game so the tradition was born to ring cowbells.
The Auburn university vs university of Alabama rivalry is one YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT

Would definitely recommend looking into the Army vs Navy game. The biggest yet most underrated rivalry game in college football.
I'm surprised that wasn't the first video up. It's strange that it was not included!
Each “student” section marching on to the field, the exchange of “prisoners”
That's one game I try never to miss. I love the Alma Mater tradition after the game and the pregame stuff
Navy is my heart and soul team. LOVE that rivals game. Even more now, since President Trump attends. LOVE.
Always a great game
Woohoo! I'm from Iowa, and it always makes me so happy to see our fans making the children's hospital patients happy :)
I was part of the "wave" to Iowa children's hospital....brought me to tears.
As an Iowa Hawkeye fan, love to see The Wave on here. Best tradition ever and its only a few years old
Ahhhh Iowa’s first quarter wave I’ve been to a game recently and I took part in the wave, it’s a BEST tradition is college football hands down! Yes I’m a Iowa fan lmao
At Texas A&M Aggies, the student practice the chants and songs the night before the games around midnight
I grew up in Iowa City, Iowa and I received my degree from the University of Iowa. I still get goose bumps, being part of the Iowa Wave, at the end of the first quarter. U of I Hospitals and Clinics built the, “Press Box” prior to the 2017 season so there would be a near-perfect view of Kinnick Stadium. The children, being treated at the children’s hospital, and their families are able to watch all of the games. I’m not sure who loves it more because the fans, and the players, always look forward to doing The Wave 👋.
The Mississippi State University tradition of the cowbells started a long time ago when a stray cow wandered onto the football field during a game. State went on to win that game and the fans adopted the Cowbell as a good luck charm. The tradition has become deeply rooted. Now, fans have attached handles to their bells and have customized them, painting them and decorating them. I saw a Dallas Cowboys #4, Mississippi State #15 mash up paint job on a cow bell once in honor of our beloved Dak Prescott. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. Now, cowbells are traditionally gifted to you or passed down among family members. They have grown in numbers and have gotten so incredibly loud, that the SEC has banned them from MSU's Away games. So... Hail State! "We Ring True"!!
I went to Iowa State for grad school (the in-state rival to Iowa), and I applaud the Hawkeyes, as well, for their traditions.
The game with Tennessee singing Rocky Top against Oklahoma is recorded as one of the loudest if not the loudest it’s ever been in Neyland. Being from Oklahoma, that game sparked the legend of Baker Mayfield (QB wearing number 6 for Oklahoma) was born in Sooner nation that day. Absolutely incredible game and from what a lot of the Sooner fans were saying the Tennessee fans were really awesome to them even after a loss
I'm an Iowa State fan (and now alumni) and my dad did business in London and some of his buddies wanted to go to the Iowa v Iowa State game and they were genuinely shocked about the atmosphere and how into it we got (we won at Iowa so me and my dad were going wild). It's an insane sport
I went to Auburn for my undergrad, and during orientation they take you to the football stadium for a bit to teach you the chants, songs, and cues with the cheerleaders, band, and mascot present. This is so when you attend your first football game you already know all the cheers and chants so it can sound uniform, especially from the student section. Traditions are very big for college football here in the US. Thanks for sharing this video!
The penn state tradition is called the "white out" as you can see for home games they wear all white and it can look like a snow storm in the stands
The White Out is kind of neat, but singing Sweet Caroline has become cliche. It's someone else's tradition and totally played out.
Just for a bit of context into why college football is so important to American culture. The battle of bull run was the first big land battle in the Civil War, and people came on carriages to watch the battle which started the "tailgate", then most of the men fighting were of the age of a college student, so generally they would leave their schools and go to fight for their respective states (hence why the band resembles a war uniform of the time). There were entire college classes that were wiped out as a result (Texas A&M). Another minute detail was in the south, the girls their age would walk the men out as they marched, so generally the cheerleaders run out before the football team (generally). So really these games are almost a representation of who's state is the best for war... and football and its tactical side are a decent representation for war. That is why every game has the magnitude of a World Cup Finals match.
Mississippi State student here. Cowbells are awesome little instruments, but the video they showed was in the old Davis Wade Stadium. New Davis Wade holds about 62k people and WAY more potential for #MoreCowbell. Hail State my friends
I'm a Buckeye fan, but my favorite part of college football is the traditions of each school and the undying love for their teams the fans have. CFB is regional, it's tribal but also beautiful in that way, we all love our teams that much.
The "chant" for Tennessee (2nd one) is the song, Rocky Top, a place in TN
Yeah college sports in america when its comes to football is a whole different environment than the NFL same with basketball because especially with students you have them taking pride in their school so you have those traditions that are there, like yeah the nfl you do too but its just not the same
I agree completely with this statement.
For NFL, I moved a lot, some of my life I was a fan of one team, later changed.
University... it is PART of COLLEGE LIFE!! Everyone you know (fellow students) go to the games of course to support our school. AND the players are in some of my classes.
And when you see your fellow fan or alumi. And can say 'We Are' or whatever school chant is. Can always get a response
College football better than NFL Because there playing for more than there self!
Im from Des Moines, Iowa and I am very proud of our tradition of waving to the sick children :)
The video skipped the best part of the Clemson tradition which is when all the players run down the hill, after touching the rock, and onto the field. The Clemson stadium is nicknamed, and more commonly referred to as, Death Valley. That's why the rock being from Death Valley in California is meaningful.
They also didn't show FSU's tradition which is super cool and has ties to the local Native American tribe. FSU, Florida State Univeristy, has a deal with the local Native American tribe, The Seminoles, and it's actually members of the tribe who take part in it.
U guys need to see FSU do the chop with a flaming spear being planted midfield off a horse with an Indian
Oh I found a nole
Im a current student at the University of Iowa, Got a few mates on the football team. Love the reaction you lot are doing it right!
I'm from Iowa and I have been at the Children's Hospital a couple times for my 2 sons since they were both born early and every time we have been there, we have had a room facing the stadium and being able to look down into the field was such an amazing view. Also side note, my dad was part of the crew that redid all the piping in the stadium back in the 90s early 2000s, he said being up in the booths was such a great experience. He use to tell me all kinds of stories about it and one that stuck with me is that the locker room for the away team is pink, I wonder if they kept it pink or have they changed it since then.
That started when Hayden Fry was the Coach & it's still pink today. I've heard stories about crazy things the visiting teams have done to cover the walls so they don't see it. lol
I go to the University of Iowa and it’s truly gives me chills every time it happens (not this year obviously)
Them talking about the polite football team in the hotel: that team was probably from the south.

I am from Iowa. I just recently took part in the "Iowa Wave" and it is even more emotional being there and taking apart of that then seeing it on TV every week. I loved doing it. GO HAWKS!!!!!!
thats Wisconsin that plays jump around right before the start of the 4th quarter, and it actually registers as a small earthquake in the city
The Clemson run down the hill is crazy in person I’ve only seen it twice but it’s great
The Iowa wave is even more amazing in person. I’ve had season tickets for the past two years (pre-covid) and I always always tear up when I see the kids and their families waving back from the hospital. For the kids 💛
One thing that is little know about "Jump Around" in Camp Randell Stadium, is that the Upper Deck does actually move. Its sways roughly 6 inches to a foot, and was designed by Engineering Students at the University of Wisconsin.
Been to Camp Randall many, many ,many times over the years - love watching N section taunting P {and you know what i mean } then O section interrupting-- and the Wave is done uniquely-- always 5th qtr!

Penn State’s Sweet Caroline video was one of our “white out” games. It’s a sight to behold when you see the full stadium in person.

The Penn State white out is a once per year, all Penn State fans are in white. The fans are from the University, students, alumni, previous college players, often those who are in the NFL. Sweet Caroline is sung at many college games.
@@elainearnold5592 I never said we owned Sweet Caroline. The Boston Red Sox play it for crying out loud.
"Sweet Caroline" transcends all walks of life. I've been to multiple heavy metal concerts, and if the sound test plays "Sweet Caroline" before the show starts, every single metalhead there is singing along.
I’m from IOWA, it is a every game tradition to cheer on our healing kiddos!🇺🇸❤️🍻
In Amsterdam several years back, a friend and I were waiting to board our plane back home. She had on her LSU shirt, and I had on my Bama shirt, when all of a sudden, we hear WAR EAGLE being yelled across the airport. The two of us jumped up, and I yell back Roll Tide, and she yells Geaux Tigers! Everyone in the airport is looking at us and around us like we are crazy! Out of the crowd comes this guy wearing an Auburn shirt. We spent a good hour at the airport talking. THAT is what SEC is all about! Three major football rivals 1000s of miles from home but connected by their love of the game.
Just stumbled onto this channel a few days ago and have been enjoying your reactions quite a bit! Thanks for doing these.
College football is steeped in history and context so sometimes it's difficult to appreciate some of it unless you're familiar with the geography and culture.
That being said, game days are an incredible experience - from the pep rallies, tailgating, and the marching bands to the game itself, it's a 24+ hour celebration of sport and community that happens for a few short months every fall Saturday.
Yeah, the Volunteers fans were also singing the state song “Rocky Top”.
Iowa here, and we love the wave that goes out to the kids at the hospital.
The first clip is referred to as the “Iowave”. Iowa is known as the “Hawkeye State”, and the people from Iowa eat, sleep, and breathe Iowa Hawkeye football from the moment they can speak. To those kids, having the Iowa football team do this means more than you could ever know. While I can’t stand the football team (Go Canes 🙌🏼), just an incredibly heartwarming thing to see and be a part of.
I've been lucky enough to participate in every Wave(Iowa tradition) since it started as a student
Glad the Iowa Wave is being noticed. I’m from Iowa btw
To add to the tradition of Virginia Tech besides the jump to Metallica is that there is a "Hokie Stone" in the tunnel leading to the field and all the coaches and players touch the stone before entering the field. Hokie Stone is what most of the buildings on campus are built from. It is locally quarried.
The last clip of Texas A&M is of their traditional midnight cheer practice before game day. The fans go to stadium just to practice their cheers before a game at midnight.
The second one is where I’m from. It’s our state song. They’re singing rocky top. It was a old bluegrass song that came from the Smokey mountains
I’m not gonna lie as an Alabama fan it’s so damn catchy
Yeah brought a smile to my face I’m from around Knoxville myself
College Football is semi-pro here. People are raised to follow a college like you would a pro soccer team. A lot of these fans didn't even attend the university they are pulling for.
As a Mississippi State alum there is nothing like hearing 60,000 cowbells. It’s a beautiful sound.
Gotta agree!! When I was there, I wore my cowbell OUT, ringing it so much!! And don't forget "Don't Stop Believing" at the start of the fourth quarter, accompanied by those 60k cowbells!!
TAMU coach said that after one game ay State, it took two days for their ears to stop ringing!!
The last one is Texas A&M. That is Midnight Yell and is actually done the night before a football game.
Whooooop
They missed out not watching the war hymn
WHOOOOOOP!!!

Aggie War Hymn
Texas has 2 college stadiums that seat 100K+ (Uni of Texas, and Texas A&M Uni), the Cotton Bowl in Dallas which seats 96K+, and numerous smaller ones. College football is King!
High School football in Texas ain't no slouch either.
@@newgrl True! I live in a very small town in TX (pop 1100 +-), but the football stadium seats 800.
The last one was midnight yell practice done the night before games at Texas A&M. They get about 25,000 to midnight yell and over 100,000 to the game.
Yeah midnight yell without context was kind of glossed over at the end. It is genuinely a sight to behold. Aggie football is filled with some of the best traditions in sports. The Wave in Iowa is incredible. Clemson running down the hill. The Buckeye Band. The fights songs, the pageantry, man I love college football.
Gigem Aggies!!
At our highschool we would chant "What time is it?" and the others would respond "Cheesecake".
Because a popular coach who led us to multiple a 5a championships was once asked what time it was during a rally. However, he was eating cheesecake and he though they asked "What kind is it?", so he yelled back Cheesecake!!!

Always love Europeans reacting to American traditions and football!! I’m from good ole North Carolina and would love to see you guys react to College Basketball traditions. Especially UNC vs Duke
4:06 “Rocky Top you’ll always be home sweet home to me. Good ol’ Rocky Top. Rocky Top Tennessee!”
Texas A&M has yell leaders, they are all male. It was an all male military school back in the day. My dad and aunt went there, I went to the rival Uni of Texas Longhorns. So we have interfamilial rivalry.
I have a theory on why college football/basketball in the States is the closest thing we have to English football in terms of culture and atmosphere. Most if not all professional sports teams have stadiums that are in the middle of the richest part of our major cities and most fans dont usually live next or close to it, as for college stadiums, they are in campuses and communities which brings more passion from fans when they live right next to the stadium. Its like how in Europe, football fans are super passionate because a lot of the pitches are integrated in the community where as in the States they're usually placed in the middle of some gigantic parking lot amongst skyscraper offices or completely outside the city. I'm from Seattle and our university is University of Washington and we have one of the loudest stadiums in CFB. I recommend watching a video on our professional team (Seahawks) and how we have the loudest fans in the NFL. We once were so loud we triggered a minor earthquake.
Just have them look up “BeastQuake” for what you are referring to
"... and how we have the loudest fans in the NFL" - Chiefs fan here... I believe the KC Chiefs would like to have a word with you.:):) In 2014 we hit 142.2 decibels. I believe that's still the loudest recorded. I will concede that you do cause the most false starts though.
@@newgrl I've been to both stadiums and I must give it to you Chiefs fans for being super loud but Seattle is just a whole different loudness. KC is more of a ear shattering loudness and Seattle is more of a loudness you feel shake your entire body, but yes, you do technically have the loudest fans according to the record hahahaha. I was at the game where we broke the original record in Seattle and I just remember how fun it was trying to break each others records there for a little bit.
@@renshawjoshua yeah they definitely need to watch beastquake and videos about how dominant the Seahawks were during the 2012-2015 years.
@@sk33t_38 I've never visited Seattle, so I've never had the pleasure of having my ears blown off there, but I've been to Arrowhead many a time. It's really loud. I also enjoy the little rivalry we have going. Hopefully, once the world settles down a bit, we can get back to competing over noise again. :)
I can explain a bit of 11:24 and onward part. My best friend went to that university, "Texas A&M", so I was able to go to a number of home games. They are doing something called "Midnight Yell", which is the night before the game. Most of the student body shows up, and they practice the "yells" they are going to do the next day at the game. At Texas A&M, they don't have cheerleaders, instead they have "yell leaders", who are high ranking members of the Corps of Cadets. Also, all of the marching band members are required to also enroll in the Corps of Cadets, so they have a rather military and country like atmosphere to them, as you could tell by the "farmer's fight" yell lol.
Also, I hate this video, because it literally explains nothing about what you are watching and just leaves you clueless. I've seen a number of people react to this video, and it happens every time. Great reaction on your part though, I found y'alls channel about a week ago, and been binge watching all your videos. Keep it up!
EDIT: I forgot to say, but before they do a yell, the yell leader will do a hand signal to indicate which yell they are going to do, then the students in the front, who can see the yell leaders, do the same signal, and the signal keeps getting sent back until it gets to the top. Then when the yell leader sees that it's reached the top, they start the yell. It's a really unique school!
It's a special thing to behold. Amazing energy
I've been to other Division 1 football games and nothing compares to Texas A&M, from Midnight Yell to the March Into Kyle field, to the game itself! Probably won't find a better Tradition then that at Texas A&M! Gigg'em! Whoop! BTHOLSU!
You guys brighten my day so much.
I've been to about 10 Steeler games and 4 Penn State games and the atmosphere at a college game can not be rivaled by any NFL game. Peace fro Pennsylvania
Was hoping to see the Iowa Wave. Turned out to be the first thing. Legit brought a tear to my eye the first time I participated in it. Love from Iowa, Go Hawks!
You should see the rivalry game that happened a couple of weeks ago between the OU Sooners and Texas Longhorns. It was a very close game. The rivalry is named the Red River Shootout, since the two states are separated by the Red River. One of the best rivalries in college.
That game gave me so much anxiety 4 overtime all the back and forth
@@wikidclownchris Lol Oh, I bet. Was probably the best Red River shootout games that I ever seen. Sadly I didn't get around to watching it until 3 weeks later. 🤦♂️
I heard who won, but I had no clue as to the score or that we won in that way until I watched the full game on CZcams.
Little did I know that after making these comments, there would be 2 more equally insane Red River games in the following year in 2021 and again in 2023, after a very dramatic coaching change.
It really depends where you live in the US on how big College Football is. In Kentucky, Basketball is king, but in places like Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Alabama, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, and Ohio College Football is king.
Traditionally the Army -Navy has been played in Philadelphia because its roughly halfway between West Point and Annapolis. Lately they’re much more flexible about the location though.
Love your guys' reactions ! Thanks for keepin 'it real!
yeah, growing up in the deep south respect is a big thing. you have to use manners and respect your elders. Im from south carolina so thats how i was brought up. I live in indiana now and so many people are like dont call me ma'am it makes me feel old lol
It's good at Mile High (it should be called that) but nothing compared to the OU-Texas game in Dallas. I wish CU was still in the Big 12, that way I could see an OU game up here every few years, or Texas Tech for my wife.
I went to the university of Iowa and the wave is an amazing tradition. Even the other teams fans and players will turn and wave to the kids. It’s a powerful moment.
I had season tickets in Knoxville over 3 decades.
Tennessee hasn't been more rocky than Rocky Top for 15 years. But , in College football , the Pendulum eventually swings back your way. You guys would have a blast tailgating at ANY SEC venue. MOSTLY , Southern people are very warm and love to invite strangers into their tailgating parties.
You guys have to check out Virginia Tech's stadium entrance in full. I go to Penn State, which has the second largest stadium (of any sport) in the country, and seats close to 110,000 people. But Virginia Tech's stadium is built into the ground, so it is one of the loudest stadiums in the world (the fans have caused several earthquakes). When Metallica comes on, the entire stadium jumps up and down in unison. UNREAL.
Saw Varsity’s Horns Off by Texas A&M when the whole stadium sways is crazy to witness
This was a very bad video to do a reaction to, it barley showed anything. A good video to reaction to is Best American Sport Fans. Nothing against your reaction though, always good.
I agree, too short for each clip, no time for it to sink in. Maybe when you suggest a video, add a link (so they can find exactly which video you are talking about easily).
@@VideoNozoki agreed
I so agree the video they were watching was edited terribly and just flat out did not even show some of the traditions, like with Clemson one they show them getting on the bus and then the rock and not the actual entrance . . wtf?
Midland-Odessa was one of the coolest stadiums I ever went to
I wish they could have seen the mascots or auburns eagle flying around
Florida State Chief Osceola and Renegade striking the flaming spear is the greatest tradition of all time.
The iowa wave isnt that old but by far the best tradition already
Every time I go to an Iowa game, everyone looks forward to waving, even the opponents
I'm from Iowa! That children's hospital is great!
The largest stadium in the world is 1st of May Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea. The next eight largest stadiums in the world are American college football stadiums. Number ten is the Melbourne Cricket grounds in Australia.
The singing of 'Sweet Caroline' at sporting events is generally credited with either the Boston Red Sox baseball team, or the Carolina Panthers NFL team. Both began using it regularly in the late 1990s, but seems to be generally more associated with the Red Sox.
I've been in the Iowa Children's Hospital during the wave. It was such a surreal experience for my wife and I and our son
