Hi, Sue. I enjoyed your video and seeing all the pretty dyed fabrics and lace. Sounds like your javing a fun day playing. Sorry about the resin not having instructions. I know absolutely nothing about resin so I'm no help there.
Oh but don't throw out that dried up Broken China ink pad. Spritz it with water and you should get some more use out of it. Or pop it in a jar of water and let set for a few days and then you will have plenty of blue dye.
Hope that helps. You van also do it with dried up markers. Just take the felt stick out and put it in a kar of water and it will pull all the ink out of the nib.
Have a great rest of your day.

I think if you dab the other side of the pearly paper ,it would absorb through to the top. Then you don't have to push it so hard into your puddle of dye. Any way, it sounds good.😊

Oh, I’m watching the next video and remembered about the stencil you got from TEMU which is sorely difficult to use.
At first I thought about melting the very closest separations together … then I thought about washi or cellophane tape - again at the very closest separations on the vines. Front and back of the stencil if possible and no gaping in the underside. At the smallest separation it seems that it either wouldn’t matter to be a tiny gap in the vine or a fill in by a pen.
Actually, washi tape the stencil to the paper and just stick washi tape where needed and not where you’re working at the moment and apply ink. Then remove and reset the washi so you can do the other part.
I’m also wondering if you take it apart where it’s splitting and just treat it as two stencils, would that work?
It’s fidgety at best … and precise taping would be more so. A bit of pondering. There “has” to be a way to make it work.
Melting could be done with a heated (clean) flathead screwdriver or ice pick (metal ones of course) touched to the smallest separation on the front of the stencil. Follow the separation for a short bit. I would do this on a cutting board or something heat resistant. A soldering gun would work but might be too hot. I worked something once with a heated metal skewer tip (long one!) and it managed fine. I might have held it with a hot pad ? But it was a long skewer.
Just be careful if you use heat - but I think it would work. 🧐❤️

Your ink pads that are drying…you can buy reinker for that particular colour…they are cheaper than buying new ink pads and the little bottle lasts forever.

So many things you have done here! I can’t remember everything I wanted to comment about!
Let’s see, glycerine is supposed to help with the dry ink pads. But I guess I put too much of both water and glycerine on mine and only very few did barely okay. The others turned out really strange. But if you’re throwing it out anyway, maybe worth a try? Or get a re-inker of fixed broken china. 😂
The mulberry type paper might pick up color from the back. I thought it was but not sure.
The resins looked fine in many ways but I did see what you meant. That favorite is a good one!
And ooooh the washi tapes! Beautiful.
The paper you stamped is absolutely gorgeous! Impressive!
I think I watched some videos prior to this but didn’t get around to commenting. Tablet. Probably. And I don’t like typing on it.
You’re getting very very masterful in all of this creativity. ❤
I’ve been wondering about your journal for sale. Still for sale? Hmmm. I was so so tempted before. And now? 🧐hmmm❤
Your hands look terrific - as does the polish.
I wondered about that little sequin on the cheesecloth and smiled when you removed it near the end. 😉

If you use a water bottle to spray your ink pads that aren't working it will bring them back to life!
