- It's finally here. After nearly 4 years of development, the first full release of the Wii Room revival is now available! This includes smaller things, like bug fixes, but also bigger things like new translations and brand new video content!

Back in my day, we were waiting on the Demae channel. Look at how far we’ve come. From a Wii menu of a broken forecast and news channel, to a revival via two different services of both regular and Japanese channels, and finally the agreement to rip the wall down and merge.
We are the fans and us fans should work together, because the fans do what Nintendon’t.

As someone who's still waiting to get a homebrewed Wii, this looks so fun! Thank you so much to the amazing community bringing something from an obscure Japan-only short-lived service to something everyone can enjoy for years to come!
I still find it incredible that after all these years, the wii has such an awesome homebrew community. What an awesome piece of Nintendo History. Glad that you fixed up more bugs and added new features-this will always be one of my favorite features of Wii Homebrew. Thanks WiiLink!

Wii No Ma always interested me because of how odd but interesting. Having it be brought back and translated is wonderful and allows for more people to try it out. Plus with the new features like Sudomemo support is wonderful.

WiiLink Your welcome, has been an honor! The next channels I'd like to see revived would be the CZcams app (some people have already patched it, although all that i've tried didnt work) or the TV No Tomo channel (i know my tv probably doesnt support it but it'd be cool to see anyways!)
@MacBack123 TV no Tomo is currently in private beta testing, which you can access if you donate to our Tulip or Rose tier. As for CZcams, that is something we are still looking into.

try installing wii room on dolphin emulator (not sponsored), it emulates 95% of the wii menu with some stuff being broken like the message board
Ever heard of Dolphin? Took a bit to set up this for me but its good once setup. Btw mariocube has a wiilink section

So uhh... what is the Wii Room/Wii No Ma Channel for again?
to anyone at wiilink:
i have 5 problems with this wii channel (wii room)
please fix the visuals as it is stretched for some reason
every time i view a video it lags so much
every 3d model thinks my aspect ratio is in 4:3 even though it's in 16:9 (assuming its a dolphin thing)
the framerate is capped to 50fps while everything else is in 60fps (i tested this service in dolphin and it does drop to 50)
the boot screens' visuals and audio are like desynced
i have an wii that runs on 4.3E btw
PAL 50hz is known to have issues. The channel was not built with 50hz in mind, so some issues may occur. Try to force the channel to run in 60hz on USB Loader GX, as if I recall that should fix most issues.

When i tried wii room for the first time it was so cool
But there is a problem with it
It cuts about like 20 of the screen and only gives me 80 present of the screen its like a DS mode
Its weird but im still happy with it!
This channel was not made with PAL 50hz in mind. As a temporary fix, you can load the channel in NTSC 60hz in USB Loader GX. That should get rid of the screen distortion! :D

when i open Wii room there's a weird bug where my Wii switches from 480p to 576p showing a black horizontal line on the bottom, i dont know if it's a problem that happened only to me, probably not
This is a common issue with PAL users. Because the channel was built with NTSC in mind, you may run into issues in the channel. You should be able to force the channel in NTSC mode in USB Loader GX or WiiFlow. Sorry for the inconvenience! -GamerKGR
