It's kinda annoying people call any monster capture game as pokemon especially since it's not even the first monster capturing game
And if anyone adds a flying bird it's a pokemon design, Pokemon designs apart from some are just the basic of basic designs. Make any cartoon bird and they all look roughly the same.

Every "Pokémon copy" is an animal that exists in the real world. I think Firefox has more of a case against them. Maybe COD should sue for having an M-4? Maybe General Electric should sue Pokémon for using light bulb likeness?
Pokémon doesn't own creature capture mechanic. It IS clearly a parody, and I'm OK with that. Looking forward to it!

I think it's because that game was trying to be the next pokemon but just doing what pokemon do, the minimum. This game isn't for kids and is a parody, most normal people will play it here and there when they release more content in the future. Tho they have to get the crossplay between gamepass and steam out quick or it will divide the community and make it flop.
I have two friend groups who're playing different versions so it makes it hard for me to choose.
And temtem is a mmo yet they don't update it as an mmo but want to treat it as a single player game wich results in an mmo dying quickly.
To be fair, Temtem was kinda garbo. People should only stick with a game if it's worth sticking with.
That said, been playing Palworld since release day, and can't put it down. If they implement mod support directly like they intend to, then I'm in it for the long haul.
And now Palworld has made damn good money

Pokemon has needed a competitor for a long time. The games haven't hit that same itch as the older games, some of that I blame on getting older, other parts just feel like they know pokemon will sell well based on the brand alone. May palworld do well, and give players what they haven't been able to get from pokemon.
This isn't gonna be a competitor, this game isn't even for kids. The amount of backlash from news stations will be ridiculous if they see what type of game it is.

New designs???? They made a snake and just reversed it's name and just added a seal to the game. I don't understand this hate towards their new designs.
They have always made basic bad designs for most of the pokemon and make good designs for some in each gen.
@@Steven-yf2ef out of all the pokemon games Scarlett and Violet have the most worst pokemon designs. For example one is just dolphin with an evolution which is just a heart added to it. Another is literally a flamingo, Pawot evolution line had wasted potential cause they all look the same, I've seen better redesigns from kids using Crayola crayon. Mausold is also a waste cause it's just a worthless "cute" diglett clone. The legendary pokemon that they just give to you looks like a fake Digimon design, regional Toros is just black. Glimora evolutionary line could have looked better or at least added another evolution. Iron Jugulis looks lazy just like the rest of the future Pokemon's names. The legendary pokemon including DLC look more like standard pokemon and doesn't give that God like present like every legendary in the past. The only thing that saves it are the pokemon I didn't mention which is like 15% of the actual new Pokemon, and the past and future Pokemon's. Also another reason for the hate of the game is cause 1. It looks ass, game was definitely rushed, glitches, story was ass, antagonistic group don't really have any interesting ideas unlike the last games other than sword and shield, Scarlet and Violet Terastallization gimmick while concept is cool still sucks that's it's just a crystal hat, evolving most of the new pokemons are tedious, and finally it's a game where it has the most worthless open world system. Why? Because it doesn't even make sense for the game sense you can't really use high level pokemon cause there's a level Capped on Pokemon obedience which determines the amount of badges you have. And finally they should have kept Alpha Pokemons from legend of Arceus.

Tbh I’ve been following these guys and there development.. They actually have full coverage of the development for some years..
This is Pokémon BUT you actually use your Pokémon in an adult manner.. If you’d like you can enslave or just catch Pals and cook them to eat or let you favorite Pal eat them and grow..
They also have a system to use that building systems based on the Pal you catch.. Like you need fire Pals to light fires and electric ones for electricity.. That’s why they show them like powering something after capture..
The game also has breeding and like shineys in game and stuff.. The games legal cause Nintendo doesn’t own the mechanics and they aren’t using “actual” Pokemon..
And yeah it’s gamepass day one or 30$… I have the pre load via gamepass but im buying day one.. They also made this fun game that was day one in gamepass and Xbox and PC exclusive named Craftopia..

I"m in a situation that I don't know what version to play, since I have two friend groups playing the other version and I don't want to buy both, since I'm not spending 15$au each month on one game for gamepass and buy steam

They don't have a case. It's the same reason why Porsche can't sue rockstar for using their car designs. You only have to change it up a bit and rename them for it to not count as copyright as long you didn't steal their code. These designs are similar yes but if you can argue they aren't the same at all.
Pokemon doesn't own monster catching games. They sue games like pixelmon on minecraft and the ark mod, the online mobile games that are basically just using their code to make a online game
Pokemon can't do shit to this game, they haven't stolen any code or designs. Sure they look similar but it's so different Pokemon won't have a case. Pokemon sues games that are just using their assets like pixelmon and all the online pokemon games.
Also people act like these are stolen from pokemon when they look so different, Pokemon designs are so basic add a cartoon look and most birds will look the same

my bad bro, i wont have fun no more and lock in on the intricacies of Palworld. honestly Palworld really seems like meta commentary on the current socio-economic state of the world and how soulless corporations forcefully work their employees to near death. it's really a genius flip on the conventions of the monster-catching genre of videogames which has really been lacking a true shake up. Palworld will be regarded as one of the greatest works of media ever.
