I'm so glad you made this video! I've tried frying turkey legs 2 or 3 times, since my mom passed and they are always too tough to eat. Last batch ended up finishing in the oven, but just didn't have that freshly fried crisp to them. I ate these, fried, growing up and just haven't been able to figure out how she got them so juicy and tender. I'll be trying this out very soon. Matter of fact, this is going to be Sunday dinner, with some collard greens, Mac n cheese, candied yams and corn bread.

Kurohme My point isn’t that it was undercooked, but that I’ve seen him so many times guessing whether it *is* cooked and sometimes he has to throw it back in and then it gets overcooked. A ThermaPen or any instant read thermometer solves that problem once and for all.

Marinade the turkey in some cola (coke/pepsi) for at least an hour, pat dry, add some salt/seasonings then fry or bake it and it will blow your mind.
