  • This week I'm in my old stomping grounds down in Tauranga. Today I'm heading out on a spontaneous fishing mission with my brother from another mother Nik. I have done lots of epic adventures with Nik an this quick tinny session is no exception. We employ a few different tactics and manage to secure a good feed of Kahawai, Snapper and a bonus Gurnard. I hope you all enjoy this sweet little episode.

Love this thank you Brother 😎 just love how you are so "every day people" style of fishing... everything you catch is positive and appreciated ... That sets you apart from many others My Bro 💯👌😎 and is an attitude and way of being that connects you to your audience very very well.
It's epic to see your progression Brother 🔥 I hope I get to catch up with you for a fish slay one day.

The KAhawai have been hanging out there for ages I was rowing out and throwing tiny blue softbaits for one each cast since march in the 3 hours before high tide after tide change they move under the marina. Guaranteed feed EH! small but tasty.

Hey bro, love the video, keep em coming bro. A good way to iki gurnard is on the top of their head, just in front of big spike dorsal fin, is a half moon shape. Drive the knife or iki spike thru there...instant death.....just make sure the dorsal isn't standing up, hold it down with a rag

@@MuddyFeet Took it out last week and found that its got a bit of a leak 😆 didn’t wanna risk it, so will have to fix the leak. Water coming in through the transom where the previous owner must’ve screwed the wood piece behind the transom. Dunno if needs welding or some silicone, either way will get it fixed
