I can't stop laughing at the fact David was the ski patrol that yelled at them a while back and now coming in clutch 😂
Don't ever take someone's helmet off, you don't know if they have head or neck trauma.
MD/Trauma Doc here: 1st. You call or designate someone to call for emergency help ASAP! DO NOT MOVE AN Injured persons helmet/neck/ body or anything really. Converting an injured person into a spinal cord injured person is horrible & you'll never live it down. More than likely the helmet will not choke them. Talk calmly if you can, keep the person as calm as you can, ask them to be still, "try" not let them move or rise/ lift up if possible. Once EMT/paramedics etc. get's there on the scene - let them handle it - period. Pray.

Bruh moving his head around/taking off his helmet before knowing the full extent of the injury was difficult to watch. If you're ever in this situation again, chill with your homie, talk to them and tell em they'll be alright, but wait for the professionals to do anything else.
Mentioning this as a learning moment for your viewers. As a patroller I cringed a bit when you removed his helmet. He was concussed (most likely) and could have had a spinal injury. So for anyone watching to learn from mistakes, never remove the helmet. There is a right way to do it, but often we don’t remove it until we get to the patrol room, unless we suspect a c-spine injury and need to get a collar on and the patient onto a backboard. We want the patient to stay warm.
NEVER TAKE OFF SOMEONE'S HELMET PLS (More harm than good)
This has convinced me to wear a helmet from now on, even when skiing. I'm an instructor so I'm pretty damn good, but hitting something wrong and slamming your head is always a possibility.
You scratching his back while you were visiting him in the clinic is probably the most wholesome thing I've seen.

So scary to see people you care about get hurt. Ive watched a lot of your fun videos but its a great reminder to see how you really care about all the people your are filming with. Not something you can fake.

On my last run this evening, a guy on the lift yelled out "Bro! get a helmet soon!" and gave me a thumbs up. It's been on my list for awhile, and I won't hit the slopes again until I have one.
