    No need to apologise for Guyanese food its good, and foreigners should not have an explationion ,when you go to europe or america they just give you the food and they dont explain it and you dont dare leave it as they would be insulted.,so why in Guyana?

    It's curry chicken, meaning you curried the chicken, it's not chicken curry, how the hell can you chicken the curry - and yes I'm a trini. NO APOLOGY, TRINI 2D NONE!!!!!!!

      It can be curried chicken but curry chicken makes no sense. They say chicken curry in India and England .

    • @SobrietyandSolace
      @SobrietyandSolace Před 4 lety +1

      In every other country they would either say curried chicken to (as you say) denote that you currIED the chicken, but people say chicken curry to denote that it is curry that happens to have chicken in it rather than describing the cooking process. It is Trinis that have incorrect grammar then get frustrated when people don't understand them.

    • @SobrietyandSolace
      @SobrietyandSolace Před 4 lety +1

      Eddos are actually a smaller relative of dasheen (taro root). Aloo is a hindi word used in Trinidad but I wouldn't know about Guyana.

    why the hell they making a big fuss eating Guyanese food, and why do you have to tell them the Guyanese names you are an American Guyanese arent you? either they like it or dont like it, Guyanese food is far better than American food, so dont make a damm fuss.

      It seems to me that she is spreading the love of Guyanese food with her friends and allowing them to taste a bit of the beautiful Guyanese culture.
      So “why the hell are you making a big fuss” about her spreading and educating her american friends about the West Indian culture??

    hay rich it may come orignally from india but it has changed and is now Guyanese, because its Guyanese you say this, but you quiet happly eat American food and you would say nothing about the Americian Italians dishes you are eating ,or you would eat argentian food and you would never mention the italian influence,and you want me to talk about the Venezualian food? you got double standards, All south american food has influence from some where, or you think all south american people were here since the time of Christ? and Guyana people just came to the country 50 years ago? you think stupid,
