Removing Fuel Injector Wireharness Connectors From GM 8.1L

- Just a quick video of removing the electrical connectors from fuel injectors on a GM 8.1 L big block. This includes the little green safety clips. This may be the same for other GM engines but I am not sure as I have not worked on them much. I broke a handful of these trying to take the little green clip entirely all the way out but it seems that you don't have to so hopefully this saves you a little trouble.

Foster - can i take a sec and tell you how much i love, LOVE you! you're so right, i can't seem to find much on YT regarding the 8.1 with close ups of removing that clip. i've gotta replace number 8 and i've been so freaked out about breaking it, i live in the middle of nowhere and i have one shot. i love how you said you don't really make very many videos so the fact that you took the time for this well... what can i say. you've loaded up on some karma Foster, makes me so happy that there's still people like you out there:) -barbie

Marvin - hi marvin, i saw your question so i looked into it for you. i can't find the clip only either, closest i can find is the little plug itself that has them. rockauto has the plugs with the green clips for a couple bucks each. i know it's prob more than you wanna spend for just a clip but it's the best i can come up with. let me know if you ever found anything, i'm about to replace an injector and you just know i'm probably going to break it hahahaha:) -barbie
