How To Get Sport Displays On Your Audi A3|S3 With The Virtual Cockpit!

- Get the same Sport Displays as the RS3 and TTRS in your A3 and S3. Aesthetically these gauges look Awesome! If you have the virtual cockpit give this a try. For me one of the gauges doesn't seem to work right but will look into it deeper to find a solution. This takes 1 minute to do so let me know down below if this works for your car or not!

Just remember that the accelerometer is used primarily for ESC, so regardless of your model, it is always installed on newer models. It's only a deal of allowing dashboard to read that sensor's data and displaying it.

From what I’ve read up on this is hit or miss. Some people have it working and others have what you have. The good thing is that it looks cool and if you have the obdeleven it takes a minute to activate. Great instructional video on this and it’s a win regardless
I love the way it looks regardless. Sporty and clean I love it. I have read too like I mentioned in the video that people get mixed results. If someone has obdeleven lying around just throw the displays on and see results it doesn’t hurt to try!
I think they’re great. My G-meter seems to work perfectly, however the power / torque gauges remain at zero 😭

Yes there’s many different experiences with this! Best thing to do is activate them and try and see the results!
One day you must upgrade to the rs3 would be such a flex move man. Make it happen!
I really want to I can’t lie but imo I could change my mind but if I go hybrid with mpi etc this car can safely make around 550whp which would be on par with an a tuned rs3 and I’d save so much money going that route. I wouldn’t able able to build the rs3 the way I can put money into the s3 etc if that makes sense
Can you help me get the center RS gauge? I’m beating my head on a wall trying to get the center, circular speed/rpm gauge on my SQ8
Do you need to keep OBD 11 plug-in to keep any activated features to last? Or, once certain features are activated, they are there to last?
You can unplug once you code and it’ll save whatever you did

Is the OBD 11 the same software as the vagcom 22.3 hex can v3?
They do similar functions but between the 2 the vagcom would probably be a bit more complete

Some people claim they work others say no. In my situation they don’t work very well but they look cool lol. I think 2019+ they work with no issues (don’t quote me on that though)
If it needs sensors check to see if it’s something you can install to get them to work properly
I’m gonna look into it. Want a few people to chime in with personal experience and see how their displays perform
hello i also activated the encoding on audi s3 8v and i have the same problem as you, that is the gmeter is slow while power and torque does not move, how can i solve?
I think it depends on the year. I believe the earlier facelift years don’t have the proper sensors to read these correctly as the newer ones have the ability to. It’s unfortunately very hit or miss
@@DArias mine is a 2018 restyling, so I think the problem is not the year but that some other function must be activated
Do you know it works w 2017 Audi TT?
Should be same or similar procedure with the TT if it has those gauges stored to be activated in the ecu and you have the digital dash
Hii, on my Audi A3 8v cockpit i don t have like your display, one in the middle with speed and revs. I have 2 , left side with speed and right side with revs. It is possible to add sport layout on my cockpit? Thank u very much
What year is your a3? Also in your virtual cockpit when you click your view it goes from the small to gauges in the corner to bigger ones correct when you click the button correct?

Same here. I have a 2017 S line A3 with the virtual cockpit. I have the small gauges in the corner when I click view and two big gauges when in the other configuration. I think it might be possible to make it like the s3 with one single gauge in the middle but I’ll find out soon when my obd11 arrives. I’ll tag you both when I make a video on it. Good to know :)

If you have a 2019 model onwards it will work guaranteed
When they say "works 100%", I think they mean the meter only displays 0% or 100%, noting changes unless you're full throttle, and high revs.
What if you have the standard digital display on the A3, which is identical to Virtual cockpit but has no customization ? (Other options are Virtual Cockpit, and Virtual Cockpit Plus).
Can you do any of these ? Or perhaps can you unlock the Virtual cockpit functionality with OBD 11 ?

no amico anche a me non funziona S3 2018.
This won't work with most Virtual cockpits fitted to A3 and S3s You have to have the specific VC model for it to be programmable.
