It turned out good, bad thing is right after we did that, he came out with a new set up that included the rails to box the frame, crossmember and trans mount bracket all together. Go figure.
It is a nice piece! TinWorks now has a Cool Frame Stiffener kit, I wish he was offering it when I was putting mine together, i would have gone that route. Thanks for watching!
Everything I have purchased from Tin Works is quality stuff. Nice people to work with. Their trailing arms are the bomb too, you can see them here: czcams.com/video/S_ueNbKdixQ/video.html
Yes there are, I actually installed some of his boxed in frame rails that come with his new frame stiffener kit. If he would have had that kit available when I bought my other stuff I would have went that route, but it came out several months after the fact. Here's a link, it's pretty trick: tinworksfabrication.com/product/1963-1972-c10-frame-stiffener/

That is a nice crossmember! I wish I thought about replacing mine when I had the cab off

@@BadAttitudeC-10- Nice for sure, pretty pricey when a fellow has to pay a third more in our money. I have other things to get done first 👍
I hear you, my build has been a sloooooow process, can't wait to get it going.
I like I need to find their website and see what else they make
