@@PanosGeoCovers of course it helps, what is even better if you do a break down of these songs in structure or notation on the challenging parts and do like a instructional videos that will be even better!
I was thinking about notating all of my covers and giving the notation to my supporters on Patreon. I have to check about copyright infringements first, though!
That will be fantastic, alot of ppl will benefit from it especially the longer songs and the odd timing parts which are pretty difficult to play by ear.

your drum setup is awesome, how do you even get a place like that for recording man. Also how do you learn all the songs, do you write out the score or do you play by memory?

As for the learning process, depends on the song. Some by memory, others with a score. With the Dream Theater ones it's mostly by memory, because I've listened to everything a million times!

2:32 I’m struggling with this pattern, any suggestions?
Step one: Work on just the hands, very slowly.
Step two: Introduce the bass drum and make sure the groove is solid and there are no flams.
Step three: Add the open/closed hi-hat bits.
Step four: Gradually speed it up.
It's not particularly hard to play, but it's a pretty unusual pattern, so it takes some time to get your head around it. Always start slow, there's no better advice than this. Good luck with it, mate!
