Awesome to see a young one being influenced and inspired the the legend that Mike Portnoy is! This is one of my fav songs from them jjust like Breaking all Ilusion, As i am, The Killing hand, Dying Soul, Metropolis part I, Panic Attack, Enemy Inside and others.
As talent becomes globalized does the value of talent go down? As more and more kids are able to do what has been done before how do we recognize unique talent?
I actually watched watche this whole thing..this kid needs to be discovered because he's as good as Mike portnoy .he's going to be In a band that deal with his talent. .
You did a good job. Improvised a few things, but pretty good. One pice of advice isn't with your drumming, it's with the audio. When you ride in the crash, it overpowers the other notes. Just something to consider next time. I'm also wondering how such a young fellow can afford such an expensive kit.
Wow. Seriously? Taking ONLY studio albums (no special/extended editions) into account, DT have 15 albums and 160 tracks. Being VERY liberal with the NOMAC tracks for The Astonishing and counting those as instrumental, there are 15 instrumental tracks in their discography. This means you believe only 9% of their discography is worth listening to. (9.38% to be exact). And really, there are only 2 true instrumental tracks on TA, so that means there are 10 instrumental tracks in the discography, which comes out to 6.25% of it. At that point, why even bother?

I wouldn't say it's a cover - it's a kind of jamming to the original Portnoy's Stream of Consciousness with additional licks and kicks - and that is very cool indeed 🤘 What is less cool though is that camera constant movements that distract the attention from what's going on
Great video dude, playing DT drums are very impressive but most impressive thing is to write those drums and be original, but most of the time playing other bands songs is a way to get your name out so I totally understand, join a promosing band and write your own if you have not already, and you should have atleast 100k followers wtf is 118? Come on people sub him.(not related with this dude)
pretty good. You did have some flubs and diffrent phrasings, and Portnoy is tighter. You had many hits not actually landing as tight as they could have. I am picky. I know all their albums. Still good job just with some bits of sloppy.
