    For the blockstrings I recommend changing them every now and then, for example the first matches with my opponents they get opened up by cooler low attacks since he has a lot, and then the second match I include overheads since they will crouch most of the time

      gotta change it up so they cant adapt, very good tips and ill keep that in mind if we ever fight so i dont get mixed lol

    I just need to find a way to calm myself when playing, when the other player is in front of me or I drop the combo I just enter in "mash mode" I know a little of defense and some combos but what makes me lose every time is getting nervous the moment I hit the enemy, I just want to know if somebody have tips for that

    • @LotteLattes
      @LotteLattes Před 3 lety +6

      Honestly same. I dont go mash mode. But my heart rate skyrockets which is terrible for concentration lol

      Tekken was like this for me at first, and at least for me there was no easy answer. HOWEVER, playing locally with your homies helped me stay less heated while playing. So I was able to practice my combos and mixups in a competitive but friendly atmosphere so I didn't get too worked up. You'll still drop it often but the more you play and have a good experience (with friends as opposed to ranked randoms) the easier time you'll have entrenching that into in your brain.

      @doctorbrown5957 Před 3 lety

      And for what it's worth everybody can have these problems. I've played tekken since TT, and I'm struggling with this game because I've never really played a 2D fighter before lol, so I'm right there with ya bus

    One thing that could’ve been added is in a block string try and add a dragon rush here and there. Also Don’t just try practicing good combos in practice mode. That’s the last thing you need to do. Try to practice block strings movement and neutral. And when you do a block sting try and take a second before pressing another button because your opponent could switch into another character and if you block the switch you could get a very good combo to even possibly tod someone

    @Zomboy-sw9ki Před rokem

    My only real piece of advice is. Don’t try something you haven’t practiced unless you absolutely have to. I’ve dropped so many combos I’ve never tried because I hardly train my offense. Learn your characters and what you can and can’t do either with a buddy or the training dummy. After that you’ll do just fine. And take constructive criticism like a tip if it’s from a higher ranked player. If they tell you to stop being predictable then work on that. Assists are there if you 6M randomly so you can either get a hit confirm or make yourself safer.

    let them super dash on u, DO NOT super dash . Blocking cant be stressed enough in dragon ball . Most u should look at ur character is the same way u should glance ur side mirror when driving

    I want to get good at this game but I only have like 2 hours a day so is it possible?

    • @InsertCoin21
      @InsertCoin21  Před 2 lety +1

      oh it sure is dude. Now im no pro at the game but I beat pretty high rank people consistently. now just like you i also don't have time to play, tbh the only times i ever play is when i sit to record a video. i simply don't have the time to play more than 1 match a day and that's if im lucky. sometimes i go days without having time to play and when i finally do get time, maybe i can fit in 3 fights after days of not playing. so ya you can certainly get good without having much time but you have to come to grips with the fact that you're going to lose a bunch and that's ok. if you're ok losing then you'll learn from the mistakes you made and get better as a result.
