The most important reason for Bangladesh's progress is here we are not discriminated based on gender (except by some sexual predators of course). I am a working woman & now pregnant. My in laws, husband & my parents also want a daughter because they know daughters are not burdens, they are assets. Progress can't be achieved with half the population being deprived of equal opportunities. Proud to be a Bangladeshi.

As we named our war "Mukti Juddho", So the people came to fight with the "Pak hanadar bahini" which means Pakistani army we called them Mukti Bahini . . . I think Bangladeshi people are the most hard working in the world. They know how to struggle with natural calamities like flood, cyclone. And another factor that worked behind it's success is it's secularism. Govt. of Bangladesh is strictly controlling the fundamentalists where the India and Pakistan failed of. Overall maximum credit goes to PM Sheikh Hasina, the woman who sacrifices a lot for the country.

Let's see in 1994 the so called best PM rule vajpayee. He had to suffer coalition break ups and lots of back stabbing(one political party even said they would join him in coalition but next day during the actual vote they voted against). He was someone who couldnt stay in power, only because of 2 year emergency did he stay in power and brought progress.
Modi and Mota bhai recognize this and use Hindu Muslim agenda etc to get as many votes. Right winged agenda to divide people is very effective and requires less work than say governments like Kerela which actually work for people.
Basically Modi and Mota bhai's goal is to stay in power and pass economic reforms which no one can question. That way they hope to better the country.

Thanks for the video, Mohak. I am a Bangladeshi and I appreciate all the information you brought forward, some of which could be corrected though. For example, the climate change issue. Bangladesh is now the 7th most affceted country by climate change, but a decade back Bangladesh was the MOST climate vulnerable country in the world. And we have worked on that, we brought reform in policies, invested a lot on climate research and application and of course, our NGOs did and are still doing fantastic job. Well, climate change won't get any better for sure, but Bangladesh is doing its best to stay prepared.
Bangladesh still has a long way to go. We are still a young country and we are standing on crossroads of westernization and conservatism. Class disparity is still an important issue in the society. But there is one thing that has always been true, Bangladeshis are very resilient- be it against natural disasters or economic downfall. People are hardworking and patient. There is an inherent knack for perseverance and self-improvement in Bangladeshis. We might not become the best, but we never stop trying to get better than yesterday. I don't think we ever competed economically or geopolitically with India or Pakistan or with any country for that regard. We just wanted to get better than yesterday and here we are. Thanks again.

It's a very detailed video about our economic development, maybe the best on youtube. Like every coin has two sides we also have, we don't have any political freedom and freedom of speech. I like the thing that you acknowledge those points. We are at the bottom of every social and human index such as higher education, press freedom, peace index e.t.c. We still have a long to go. We have to look at India for inspiration. Sometimes I feel jealous to see how much political freedom India have. Btw, love the ending. You know what there is subconscious mind
There are many things which are not taught to us we learn it by just observing our surrounding
Suppose there are two child one is from Pakistan and one from Bangladesh
The child from Bangladesh is watching a woman leader leading its country successfully making its prosperous and many male officials working under her
    From his childhood

@ব খ তী য়া র ফ য় সা ল [BAN] man, got you again I mean your narrative sitting on your high horse is quite entertaining. Read a comment below you about the media and social influence how bad it is and in long term how badly will affect the country you'll see it after maybe 10-20 years. You're being as short sighted as the current govt I mean even if your theory on North East and Siliguri comes close to anywhere near to real it still will be like giving more taking less type of deal. Let me give some examples like check deshi tv commercials then count the percentage of the Indian dubbed version ones, I even heard lately local commercials are being done by Indian productions, that's the power of lobbying. Textbook printings, passport printings to the local jobs are getting lobbying priorities and special quotas. So, it's the other way around. Let ask you another question adding the previous one of course, you still believe international cricket is still a global game not some rich scheme?
