Don't get me wrong I'm not against helping people other countries but you need to help people in your own backyard before you go looking somewhere else we have people in the United States is starving to death president needs to help with these people and still letting people like them come cross the border that's the president's fault

This immigration stuff is really upsetting because we are having a hard enough time with our country right now. We are not stabilized we have so many issues, we cannot add more to it, I am sorry I am not cold hearted or being mean but the facts are ; If we let all these people in a percent of them will get assistance , A percent will work and where will they live because let's face it living in this country right now is expensive, a percent will commit crimes and be put in the prison system. I know some don't want to hear that because we have Americans in prison and now we add more and that means more crime. Where does the money come from to assist these people? Will the Congressmen , Senators and President open their pockets to support these people? No it will have to come from somewhere. maybe it will fall off our trees or magically appear. No taxes will go up and the people out here already struggling will pay more taxes for food, rent, gas and everything else. They say it will help our economy, really. Like when they increase wages and then right after they raise all the prices on everything and we are suppose to believe that somehow this changes stuff and helps our economy. It doesn't, it is just another way of squeezing us or stretching us just a bit harder. I am not for the right or for the left there is good in each side and bad in each side it is not even the point, the point is this, How can we take care of all these people when we can't even take care of our own and we have people hear working 3,4 and 5 jobs just to get by and they need a little help with daycare but they make one dollar over the amount to get any help and they work mind you. These people come with children and they get everything it is not fair it is not right we pay taxes here and we need to help the people here. Elderly people can't even afford their medication they have paid into the system and disabled people are stressed to the limit and now more. Most people including me feel sorry for these people wanting to come in here but at some point we have to say enough already, when will the madness end. Joe biden wants to give them work permits, like we are to believe that somehow that will solve everything. It is like someone is driving a bus off a cliff and right up to the last minute before it goes off the cliff driver says, " If we go slow we won't go off the cliff don't worry believe me and then it goes off the cliff. Why doesn't someone get up and grab the wheel and say, " You're not going to drive us off the cliff stop this bus now." That is what is happening some are believing the driver, some are screaming stop it and no one is grabbing the wheel.
People think south America migrants cross pathway to the USA because EU in South America in job created, money currency , legal migrants to the USA work factories are better solution to solve migrants from Southern border.
We don’t need all of these people here. We are already experiencing a housing crisis down here in Florida and I’ve got 15. Guatemalan is living next to me in a two bedroom apartment. It’s ridiculous. It’s all over South Florida. Why can’t they just keep pushing to stay in Mexico or go to Canada. Mexico has great health care and they are doing really well as a country.

Aside from your lack of punctuation, you are absolutely correct. I believe the vast majority of Americans feel the same way. I know I do, and I'm a California Democrat. I voted for Biden in 2020, however, because of Biden allowing Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell to frivolously raise the federal interest rate, which has not only killed the housing market but many jobs that are dependent upon it along with it, and has simultaneously driven up inflation and the cost of living, as well as the lack of control on the immigration crisis, I will not be voting for him in 2024. And I definitely won't be voting for any presidential candidate in the Communist Republican Party.

That's quite a diatribe Susan. The facts are the issues you point out are not due to a lack of resources in the USA. The issues here.of employment, food costs etc are all structural. Surely, you must be aware full employment in this country leads to inflation. Our economy is a basic pyramid scheme; The Many Supporting the Few. Wages arent meant to sustain you any longer, but help you along. Only the wealthy, the 2% have access to the wealth created by us the workers. Exactly i just lost my best friend due to a drug overdose. My father and mother waited 15 years as a resident to take the citizenship test. They studied and passed. They did it the right way. This is not fair these immigrants getting handouts at our cost

I am a black American born and raise and I feel for these people fleeing from their home lands but Biden need to stop all these people just coming into America but what I hate the most is that those that are here look at me like I do not belong in a country that I have lived since birth and my father from birth and my grandfather from birth. Some of these immigrant looks at black people like we are the strangers and we black Americans are as much Americans as white people and native Americans all in those groups are Americans. We think American, we live Americans, black and white people have more in common then white people from other countries have in common. Hispanic Americans, and white Americans, and black Americans (and when I say Americans I mean people that have been over here for at least 200 years. People come here whose family have been here for less than 100 years thinking they are more American than people who have been here for two centuries or more. I am not Republican or not Democrats but we need to treat blacks Americans better than we treat foreign white people just because those foreign white people are, well, WHITE.

Don't know if this is true but it does make sense. I live in baja California and 4 or 5 years ago we had a lot of people from Honduras and Guatemala come here wanting to get into the US, it was around the time of the presidential campaign I got to speak with one of the Hondurenan migrants and he told me that there where Americans in Honduras gattering people and telling them that the US is giving permits and legal status to poor people and that's why thousands of people come in as if they have been organized by someone.
Tbh this might be a political move either trying to promote a wall and border security or more laxed migration laws. Either way this seems like something planed by us political forces

My boyfriend came over here over a decade ago. As soon as he got here he started working and hasn’t stopped. There was no protection for him during the pandemic. He had to work along people that were sick and couldn’t afford to take off work. He doesn’t get any of the benefits of being in the United States like Worker’s Comp., or Social Security, or disability, or food stamps, or any kind of assistance program. He can’t even get a drivers license. And we cannot get married because he is not legal.
The issue at the border cannot be fixed until such time as BOTH parties address it, BOTH need to have a committee to address it, they need to legislate and pass bills about it. Sending troops, killing ppl is not the answer. Both sides of politics need to address it finger pointing and assigning blame does not fix it!

Texas shouldn't get federal funding. Texas are sending the immigrants to other states . Those are the state that should get funding. I do think the border should temporarily closed because of the other states are overwhelmed.

I am struggling to pay my rent that has doubled in the last year here in South Florida, meanwhile, next door, I’ve got 15 Guatemalans crammed and living in a two bedroom apartment. Why can’t they go to Canada? Or North Dakota or Alaska where there isn’t a population overload? It’s always Florida, California and Texas.
Venezuela is an oil rich country. It's government should be taking care of their citizens. There is no excuse.
