- Hi everyone! I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2015, and in this video, I share with you my articleship (training) experience at KPMG India, one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
I talk through how I applied, my interview process and the pros and cons of working at a Big 4.

Yes, I strongly agree to discourage dummy articleship - I was a science graduate and was able to understand Debits and Credits easily while reading accountancy book and of course doing practical work.

The information you gave was really helpful, it boosted my confidence because i used to think that to apply for big4 you have to clear both the groups in one round but you cleared 1 group and then get a articleship at KPMG right?

Hi ma'am,it's just amazing to watch it,
I need your advice, I'm 35, completed b.com in 2009, wanted to do CA but couldn't do it due to financial problem.
Currently, I'm working in a MNC but still I want to do CA along with my job,I want to give group 1 and then group 2 separately, would I get a chance to do articleship from big 4 companies or they only look for rank holders.
If I do CA now would it be beneficial for me.
I need your advice ma'am please.
Sir,
if i were to add the answer to your question, it’s definitely worth it and i would recommend to appear for exams based on your comfort level, in which you have to give your best. The answer to the articleship query can be found on quora but as far as i know if u have good communication skills and you present yourself well you definitely have a chance. I’ve read on quora that people with multiple attempts have also been roped into these big firms. Hope this helps!

I am a little disappointed, as I have heard that it's nearly impossible for me to get into big 4 through direct entry without references. I would be pleased if u let me know that, if my graduation marks or cv can do wonders regarding this problem

Mam as per you any student wishing to do pratice in future should opt for articleship in big 4 or a mid size firm since I have heard many a time that big 4 provide knowledge only for a specific area and mid size firm provide knowledge about all areas?? Can you plz help me?

i wont be able to give both groups seeing the time constraint .....so should i skip my attempt or give one by one?

Hi Didi. I'm CS student but actually wanted to do Acca. There's no relevant coaching institutions, so I jumped into CS. I wanna know whether CS can do Articleship in big 4's, is there's any opportunity for us? And also I don't hold a bachelor's degree, I straight away came into CS after my 12th grade. Sister, firstly Tq so much for this video and what I wanna ask is some say Attempts in ipcc doesn't matter solely but I even heard few saying, if our attempts are more than 2, they don't even consider ur CV and throw it in Dust bin. Please clarify me as I wanna apply for articleship in Big4, but due to no clear info, I'm really confused whether to apply or not

@@MeharSindhuBatra Sister, I've even Heard Many saying that Only through Reference, there's a High chance and I even Found one Girl who's working in Delliote Hyderabad, but she is not a CA Article Trainee, and has been working with Delliote only since 2 years , So my question is whether her reference will be Valid as she is not an experienced or In high level position in Delliote, Will I get an Email for attending Aptitude Test on basis of Reference of Her??
It is always going to be a bit of luck. Sometimes even with the best contacts, we don’t get a call back. But sometimes even without any contacts we do. Just make sure your CV stands out and makes them call you. Keep following up and also apply to more than just one firm. Don’t give up if you don’t hear back from one firm. Keep on going!
