Thank you for sharing your career experience as a journalistic photographer. It's fascinating to hear about the challenging situations and physical confrontations you and many other photographers faced, especially during the Cold War paranoia era. Your story sheds light on these often overlooked aspects of the past, and I appreciate your willingness to share it with us.

Congrats on getting that Zf setup and shooting! The 1080 footage looks really good, welcome to the world of video on your Nikon. I like how the lens look in keeping things in focus, yeah I’m hearing that lens noise as discussed. I think the voice isolation feature in Resolve would have removed that.

I’ll try the other zoom lens see how that works. And I noticed if you upload the video from the Mac to you tube it takes longer

@@Photojouralist123 It may have to do with the Nikon files being less optimized as opposed to the iPhone footage that is optimized in camera before going to computer.

I'm a little late to this video but it was incredibly informative and well done, thank you! I am going to try to keep my finger on the ball a bit more and do some quicker paced photojournalism but I struggle to get to it working most of the week so Im not sure when Ill have anything to share. I have been working on some editorial pieces surrounding local film photography, so not groundbreaking stuff exactly but it is something I am interested in and involved in from my 9-5.
I think your perspective on street photography is really interesting, while it is a very artsy way of shooting I was more reffering to the aspect of being in the street capturing potentially brief moments on your jobs. That was probably a mislabelling from me but you seem to have understood my meaning!

Nikon Z Nikkor 26mm f/2.8 when autofocusing is noisy. But love the lens. Cheers!

I've known a number of newspaper photographers, some from big named papers in the US, and if you would see their cameras, they looked pretty beaten up. Specially if they belong to the paper. But, they always work perfectly. For them, a camera is a tool.
Do you have any photos available like on Flikr?
    Thanks for your videos.
    Cheers!
