Let me take you along on this beautiful wedding day of my fellow herero people here in the UK, It’s not same as a traditional wedding as we are in diaspora but indeed it beautiful wedding too. One thing about herero ladies/women they are known of wearing their beautiful Victorian dress which it’s complimented with a unique headgear/hat which in the form of cattle horns. This resemble a respect to cattle animals because Herero people they make their living in cattle farming production.
The entertainment - it’s oviritje, one of ovaherero people music, this music produced by Herero artists and it very entertaining and enjoyable to the Herero people and many other tribes in namibia & the entire world. I hope you will enjoy & don’t forget to subscribe, comment, like & share.
