The victory conditions overhaul mod already has a set of more interesting win conditions for Elspeth - I know it's a bit late to say that now as you're probably a couple of episodes in already but, yeah. Essential mod imo.
Do note that it's not the same exact same mod as the one from before. The original mod creator has handed off the work to someone else, and has effectively retired the original mod and left a link to the new mod that you'll need to switch to. I would link the new one here, but CZcams tends to get very angry at comments with links in them.

Ironsides shoot nearly twice as fast as a handgun unit. They are currently the highest DPS rifle unit in the game, although, Grudge Rakers might beat them in terms of raw burst
Im pretty sure the iron sides have a faster reload time aswell meaning they shoot more often
the ironsides get absolutely insane once you max them out. they sit around 160 range and over 90 missile damage with tons of armor piercing. the hochland long rifles are ok for killing characters and single entities but the ironsides can already do that and with more ppl in their unit their overall damage is still significantly higher. enjoy the amethyst units while you can since CA will assuredly nerf the living hell out of them lol.

Watching RuinousInsight's play of this, he's noted that Elspeth desyncs a lot even in field battles I wonder if the devs did something again. :p
Yeaaaahhh... I think I found out why. Basically the Hellstorm rocket battery engineer school buff gives it more rockets, right? Except not in the replay. So if you have thay bonus and a hellstorm rocket in your army any replay will desync.

I finished this campaign the other day. It's a lot of fun. The amethyst units are great. Lol.
re. the ironsides once they have their dig in bonus they deal the same if not slightly more damage power target due to the increased fire rate.
Volkmar the Grims campaign is alot better now same with Gelts they all got some nice changes
