Video Description: Today on Match ups we check out how a 225/40 fits and looks on a 18x9.5. The wheel is the rotiform TMB and the tire is a Nitto g2 555.

I running a 19x9 set, and looking to get 225/40r19 any word on wether or not thats considered stretching??? I like the way these are sitting but I don’t want to compromise safety for stance. Most sites say this tire can fit 9’ width. Thanks homies
If I get 18x9 wheels with a +35 offset could I run 225/40r18 tires the ones I was looking at are 225/40r18 xl
I just got a set of federal ss 595 size 225/45/R17 and VORS TR-4 17x9 +30 offset. My 2011 Honda CR-Z ex will I rub on stock suspension?
Hi! I have a 2017 Toyota Camry SE and I am looking for wheels like the one on this video. May I have please more specifications of them, like brand bolt patterns and offset?. I am looking 18x8.5 all around or maybe 18x9 wheels in hyper silver or maybe chrome, with 255/40R18 Tires...
Give me some tips. I will appreciate...My camry have stock suspension and I do not have in mind to change it, just keep it like this.
what tire pressure are they set at?
Curious as to how well these would hold up with a rookie drifter. With this little stretch, how difficult would it be to not bead break these while whipping around?
Honestly man lol when whipping around in stretched wheels it's almost inevitable you will break the beads sooner or later. BUT these are both nice quality products. The Nitto tires and Rotiform wheels are both top of the line! 🙌
He said 22 offset
What’s the lug nut pattern on these wheels? I know Sti takes a 514.3 and rotiforms TMB’s only make them in 512
Shoot us an email at wheels@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you with that!
i have them in a 5x114.3
Is this to much stretch if I put federals with the same 225/40 on esr 07 18/9.5?
nope
Why would you get such a skinny tire (225) over something bigger like 265?
So that they can fit in the wheel wells...thats why
the 22 offset on the 9.5"w wheel pokes out a lot on the VA chassis. and because of this and the fact the car is on air, the 225 tire is needed to avoid hitting the fender when turning and the occasional big bump on the street. rolling and pulling fenders might be necessary. also, additional camber (more than 1.5*) will also help avoid rubbing. going this wide with a low offset takes commitment and sacrifice.
I have rpf1s as wheels same specs but with a 35offset. Would that make a difference on how the tire would be stretched?
Should be no difference on the stretch!
An we put pictures of just the wheel and tire not installed on the car for better view.
You guys never post the offset in these videos.
I suppose it was because no one has suggested it! We can def work to add that into our informational videos! 🙌
He said "22 offset" or +22 in the first 15 seconds of the video.
@@iMdAhAcKeR But he didn't mention the wheel size and width, which is important. The video was edited after my comment to include that information.
Thank you @Fitment Industries for including that information!
You gotta stop saying “40 series” or “35 series” etc. it’s not a series. It’s an aspect ratio. It’s a percentage of the width. A 40 is not as meaty on a 225 as it is on a 265 or a 275. What you are saying implies that every tire with a 40 sidewall will be the same. Not even close!
