Loki's show was brilliant. Marvel went all out with that one, and I just can't wait to know what is going to happen next. I couldn't hope for a better direction for the new saga. I made this tribute as always to pay tribute to the character, I hope you will like it.

you know what's interesting though? even though Sylvie can't trust, *she can be trusted,* while Loki can't be trusted, *he can trust.* like in ep 6, when Sylvie swung her blade down only for Loki to block it with himself, meaning *he trusts her.* he knows that *she can be trusted,* to not move that blade further than she already has. he puts his life on her line, trusting her.

Are you kidding me they arent good people and arent heroes. Sylvie wants revenge not to dismantle the TVA to give people free will and Loki wanted to take control of it. Plus this is the Loki from the Avengers not infinity war. He killed thousands of people and didnt redeem himself at all. So he is still a bad guy they just framed it like he was a good guy and you fell for it.

Anyone who has a problem with how Loki was portrayed in this series clearly doesn't understand his arc. He literally saw the way his life was supposed to play out & how he was going to die right before his eyes in the very first episode, which humbled him the rest of the way. That experience made him realize how much he hurt his loved ones and never got the chance to reconcile. It allowed him to let go of his rage and lust for power and control, and it exposed his fear of rejection and being alone, something that was implicitly established in the first Thor. And all of this shifted his focus from seeking power and thrones to seeking love and belonging. So everything that followed after the first episode, particularly in episode 4, was completely in character. Having that experience in the first episode fundamentally changed him, or at least allowed him to be the person he always was but rarely showed.
And he showed that person to Sylvie, and ultimately was betrayed just as he had betrayed his loved ones in the past. His character development in this show is incredible, and although it's poetic that he ended up exactly where he started--alone--it is heartbreaking honestly. I also hope he doesn't give up on Sylvie, just as his loved ones never gave up on him.

I felt that - every word. He connected with the audience instantly when he started saying those lines. Marvel gave their best to the Loki series and the gamble clearly paid off.

Back to square one. Sylvie betraying Loki placed him right at the beginning of what made him become the villain we all know, understand, and love. The pain he received from betrayal; the pain he received from letting his guard down caused him to become who he was from Thor up until Thor: The Dark World. It is now up to him whether he chooses to remain strong, loyal, honest, and genuine or become a villain once more.

I think he's going to understand Sylvie, bc in the end he said "WE made a mistake. WE freed the sacred timeline", which means he doesn't put all the fault on Sylvie. I guess he'll forgive her but won't say it loudly for awhile bc he's Loki after all))

For A Glorious Purpose
Richard E Grant was able to make me care so much about a character that we had only just met with such minimum screen time. Classic Loki’s sacrifice was so incredible. He single handedly stood his ground, staring death in the face and fulfilled his glorious purpose.
I believe he casted a projection of Asgard not only to distract the Alioth, but to see his true home one last time before he died. When Loki admitted to missing Thor, it really shows how much he does love his family deep down.
He showed the other Loki’s they’re more powerful than they realise and proved that they are capable of pure greatness. What an amazing character and actor.

Also, when he admitted to missing Thor, it showed he really was telling the truth before when he said ‘I only ever wanted to be your equal’
This was a huge 180 for the character, and it was done so well. He didn't just turn from a villian to a hero. Loki experiences the sublime, and is actually humbled by it. He basically had an ego death

After Loki season 2 episode 6 he really did burdened with Glorious Purpose
Someone mentioned once the choice of words loki keeps on saying he's *burdened* with a glorious purpose. He doesn't want the throne, he's born to it. It was very interesting to me how at the beginning they wrote that as a penance, as something he didn't want but he felt like he needed to do. But slowly he, as long as the other loki, find their glorious purpose. They're no longer burdened.
He found himself at the end of time - Loki is Sylvie. That is the purpose of every living thing in the world - to come to terms with ourselves at the end of time.
Humans die. Loki does not, Lokis do not. They lose but they win. They survive for glorious purposes and we are about to find out all that in the future of the marvellous MCU.
You perfectly understood and captured the unique style of the show and the character. The way you edit is unique on youtube. Everything is on point, it’s insane that you included scenes from other marvel movies that i had forgotten. I hope that you will keep getting more appreciation from people because it’s largely deserved!

I believe that at the end after sylvie betrays him he reflects about it,he finally felt what he always did to others and that breakes him even more.
Back when this show got announced I was so confused and worried. I didn't think we needed a Loki show. I didn't think they could make it interesting enough. But god damn... it's such a vital part of the MCU. It feels like such a good reflection of things we've all been through as a fandom, while introducing what's to come. Nothing will be the same going forward.
Loki's definitely made it into my top 3 characters. I'm always amazed at how well you convey emotions through your work. I feel like there was so much to unravel in this series and you've nailed it. I think I'm starting to enjoy the Marvel shows more than the movies, because of how much time they give to flesh out characters without all the filler. I'd like to think the Eternals and the new Spider-Man movie later this year will be the start of something incredible. I'm so excited for Season 2 of this show, and all the multiverse madness to come. 💙

Pretty much the same for me. Before all these shows my fav MCU character was Groot and T’Challa. They still are, but after watching Falcon & Winter Soldier I saw Bucky’s character from the point I never saw before and related to him a lot. He became my favorite. I was delaying watching Loki and honestly wasn’t interested in it, considering I watched Mr Robot series for the first time this summer and everything after that felt like a low level. But I finally decided to give Loki a chance and ‘forced’ myself to watch it, expecting nothing. And oh boy, I felt in love with everything! These Marvel tv series allowed characters like Wanda, Bucky, Sam and Loki to develop and show us how actually meaningful they are. It’s hard to pay attention to the, when you see first role heroes like Thor and Iron Man but these series - they are deeper and more touching than movies because there’s more time. And Loki - I related to him even more than to Bucky. I felt heartbroken but also touched to my soul. I still getting over my break up and this just resonated even more. Loki became one of my fav characters now and there’s no turning back.
It always is interesting to me that to some people Loki was an afterthought, because Loki was my favourite character from the very beginning. Although, I didn't read comics, but made aquaintance with myths that are just awesome thanks to Loki's involvement 😄 Still, it's unbelievable that I actually started watching Avengers thanks to Loki, because I've seen a short clip with a scene when Loki is walking with his stick a'ka sceptre in a ballroom in Germany and then striking a guard. I don't know why, but I thought: "huh, interesting! from what movie is it?" 😆
Agreed on all fronts. Loki was always a top-5 character for me, but he's definitely top-3 now. I love the character development in the shows, it's great. And I think it's setting up for a very character-driven MCU going forward, which I prefer 1000x over to plot advancement. I love seeing these complicated characters like he, Bucky, Sam, and Wanda fleshed out and given depth. Although I'm excited about Kang and the multiverse and everything else, that's the stuff I'm here for.
By far the best Marvel Series so far imo. 🔥

This show in a way was mirror therapy for me becasue I believed and kinda do beileve in a way of being born to be alone forever. To only have certain people in my life to only begone in a blink of an eye and everytime i try to change how I approach people to show them who i am….turly am they either reject or dont take time to understand who i am as a person, as a soul

OMG, this is so good! 😭 Loki finally learns to trust, only to face a variant of himself still stuck in bitterness and rage... and now he gets to be on the other end of feeling helpless & unable to stop someone from self destructing.
It’s so sad because every part or Loki’s metaphor about love came true. They used daggers repeatedly and their love was one; it could be used as a weapon to break the timeline; until it made one of them bleed; and when Loki tried to reach for slyvie he found that the love was never real in the first place
Well Sylvie also cried when Loki stopped her so that means she loves him but even that wasn't strong enough to stop her from killing Kang! I mean she had been waiting for this moment her entire life! Nuff said
Also in the beginning when they met and he told her he had hidden the tempad in his heart and she said “then I’ll cut it out”
But I do believe the love was real. Sylvie just has not grown enough yet. She didn’t watched her whole life and death played in the tva. She barely remembers her childhood. And has been alone cultivating rage for a thousand years by living in apocalypses every day.
She is a mess who is not going to be fixed that easily.

After season 2, he has found his glorious purpose. That's how you do a character development.

loki has a new glorious purpose now. and it actually is worth the glory and the respect the "glorious" title would add to the purpose. it isnt a mad scramble for power like before painted as glorious. it actually IS glorious now. saving the multiverse. but most importantly,his loved ones.
This is just the tribute we needed after the finale. You used just the perfect amount of old scenes to go with the new series to make a complete tribute for Loki and his journey. The second part is one of the best emotional things you're ever made since your endgame Tony Stark video. Touching, pure and so quietly qualitative. A perfect sense of quotes as well, the pace was insanely on point and made me feel more than the actual scenes from the show.
The scene with Loki and Mobius hug is, I feel, a scene that is easily wasted because of how magical it is but it felt just as good as in the show, maybe even more so. And the old scenes you put to go with it just before we hear Kang say "I've seen it all" is just so SMART ? It goes full circle and leaves us in awe, especially with your music choice.
I can't think of a better tribute to this character after this show, especially since there has been so many before but this felt fresh because it stand on the new scenes to embellish the old ones. Beautiful, a masterpiece.
Whatever anyone may say Owen Wilson was the show-stealer. And honestly, I didn't miss the "WOW"

Incredible work, I’ve waited for the MCU king to do a video on the new LOKI show since it was officially announced and now it is here it was gone beyond my expectations… which were already high. I cannot put into the words the pure brilliance you’ve created here and I’m at a loss for what to say. I think this may be my favourite edit to date.
Great job man! Loki is one of the most complex characters the MCU has given us and you demonstrated it perfectly in this video.

That quote represents so much of what Loki is/are. It make you realise how he really feels about himself and how hard he finds it to trust others.
In my eyes, Loki is one of the better written characters in the MCU. His hero's journey is now complet with the last episode of the 1rst season. (I'm eager to see what season 2 will bring)
