@@cluckendip he said metaphorically because he was just talking about the cup overflowing in a metaphorical way. Usually when you are disqualified you aren't in with a shout (a chance), so he was joking that he was still in the show and can still win.

The ending is so perfect he’s standing there like a teacher in front of the kids who misbehave that won’t stop laughing.

The end was comedy perfection *chef kiss* Greg the former teacher using a moment of silence for disciplining and the contestants begin to resemble the five types of students every classroom has.
Somebody could have waited for it to rain and they still wouldve had the fastest time

The moment when they had to stay in silence because of the disappointment everyone was disqualified. And some of them are try so hard not to laugh. That's exactly as when you had worst marks for your exam but you not alone as half of the class got the worst marks too meanwhile the teacher was devastating with our marks.😂😂😂

I think the best part is Greg reverting to full teacher mode at the end.
Actually, Mawaan was the only one that barely touched the red. The rest were very blatant.

As it seems with most series, I didn't know how this would go when the first episode hit, but by the end I loved all of them and wanted to see more. I especially loved Katherine (big fan of the I.T. Crowd). I REALLY want a series with the Holiday Special lineup because that was hilarious.

Honestly, there are contestants I don't like on a series (and only a couple of them. There have been people I expected not to like but I actually enjoyed in the show) but I don't think there is a whole series that I wouldn't rewatch. Every series has moments like this of pure hilarity.
I like how Mawaan kinda spoiled Alex's big reveal at the end by mentioning the paper Daisy dropped.

i can't believe they managed to have a cast where everyone is terrible. one of the best seasons and i bet that if any of them were in another season they would be placed last

I like Katherine as far as I know her, and I kind of think full group disqualification is the greatest thing that's happened yet, so def no hate

She threw it almost perfectly for it to go nowhere
Could they not have pulled down the pole, broken the pole off/pulled it out of the ground and just fill it on the ground? Did the task ever say that it had to stay inside the red green?
The problem with that technique is that given how much they are able to bend the pole in the first place (almost to a full 90 degrees), pulling it down far enough to actually break it would almost certainly result in at least one section of it and/or the cup touching the red green once it breaks. Same with having to pull it out - the pole is just too bendy and awkwardly long for any of them to be able to feasibly do so in a way that would completely avoid either the pole or the cup touching the red green.

I know some ppl didn't like this season, but for me it was one of the best!
First I've heard of it
It only suffered in that it was the first in lockdown I think.
Compared to the first 2 of season 11 that have aired as I write this, it's slightly ahead.
It's the weakest season imho (Your mileage may vary of course), but it's a rather high floor, i still really enjoyed it.

This is only the first traditional task where everyone was disqualified, there were studio tasks that everyone got disqualified in series 6 and 8.
I noticed Daisy's paper hitting the green the first time I watched this. I was waiting to see if they mentioned it.
The face at 1:07 'How are you going to apply that to that cup' just pure devastation.

When the encounter results in a Total Party Disqualification
A had to rewind the bit with Johnny falling
Johnny auditioning for Last of the Summer Wine.
1. First use the water hose at a low angle to spray the red "green" and try to push it towards the center so you can get closer to the pole and cup. Lift out the pole and take it to a ladder or something that you can stand on to fill the cup. The pole is already touching the red so we can assume it is excluded as a dq.
Or...
2. Just adjust the nozzle for a semi verticle stream which would crest and fill the cup
It must be the cameras and the timer, because when we watch this we think we could surely acknowledge the task properly, right?
It's the pressure and limited resources and time. You have to think quickly and thinking quickly usually means stupidly. Plus when we watch it we see their failed attempts and realise a better one. They don't.
I was expecting someone to pull the cup down, cut it off with a saw and just fill it up in the sink lol

This was done purely to shut up people who complain on twitter about rule breaks. The alternative being this where nobody gets points. Pure genius

im mildly surprised no one simply got any water into the cup and said they were done. as the task doesnt say the cup needs to overflow with water. so as soon as you displace the air inside the cup with water, the air in the cup overflows out of the cup. task complete.
I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole of British Panel shows (I guess that’s the name) and I can’t get out. Started with Jimmy Carr solo comedian career, ended up in 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown... and now I can name most of the celebrities on there. (Mostly because it’s the same group in rotation)

It's funny how this is the first time the ruling was actually accurate with the red green, given many other times someone else stepped on/off it without any penalty (i.e. Liza Tarbuck on the team task)

This actually isn't the first time they all got disqualified for a task. When they did the teddy bear drinks task where they weren't allowed to spill anything or walk on the grass with the drinks, they all got disqualified for spilling the drinks (as well as Katherine's tippy-tappy walk)

That red green is forever tainted with Joes woes of pain for getting disqualified not that long ago. Fueled with negative Karma, it now prays upon unsuspecting contestants who fail to observe that simple fact.
