I wonder if DCT will still have the same upshift explosions when a performance exhaust like Gintani's is installed, that was one benefit of those Single Clutch gearboxes they really added another element to that V12.
@@your-neighbor It's not exactly fun to drive as well, given that gearbox and the weight of that car. A Huracán is more fun, especially the rwd variants, compared to the Aventador. They mostly buy it as a poser vehicle!
It seems to be very well engineered and I like the cabin design. But the actual styling of the thing seems overtly fussy, yet still indistinct. It won’t age well and doesn’t look much like a Lambo either…especially from the front. Take the badge away and it could be from anybody 🤷♂️
@@RR-us2kp I don't think so, but I was asking a genuine question, the whole point of an hybrid should be to have the quick acceleration of an electric car and the longevity of a gas car. It's funny that a 4 seat family sedan is quicker than a 600 000 car

Lamborghini has a higher top speed and is faster around a track. It is also a Lamborghini. Never heard any Lamborghini owners comparing their cars to family cars in any way.

@@4literv6 Don't forget the Revuelto is using a carbon tub. The SVJ was already heavy given what it was! But in general, hybrid supercars/hypercars like LaFerrari, Valkyrie, P1, 918, SF90, SpeedTail, AMG One, etc. are all much lighter than the Revuelto! Cars like the SF90 don't even use a carbon tub like the Revuelto and is at least 440lb lighter!

But man lotus still crushed their weight goal. And the McLaren p1 had phev and awd to back in 2013 yet weighed around 3,500# wet.
@@4literv6 For an EV the weight is understandable as lightweight battery technology isn't at its peak and in everyday situations that weight would still be masked by the instantaneous power delivery. As for the P1, it was RWD and not AWD, which is why it was the most dangerous car to drive, out of the holy trinity!

I recall an interview where CTO Rouven Mohr said the Revuelto has a drive mode to mimic the single clutch.
It won't, it will behave more like a Ferrari v12 which is still very exhilarating.
