how much? i got the old version of the 7 and it packed up, it did gaming ok for a while as well at the beginniing.... but because amazon os there wasnt many games any way... i did side load playstore.... but i also found out i dont like really gaming on tablets fullstops... if i do i tend to just zen pinball.... but yeah mines exclusively a back up browser and youtube and other streaming apps device..... i got the og for 25bucks tho
@@antwango How much what? How much does it cost? I got mine on Black Friday but currently if you want to get the one I have it costs $75 since I got the ad-free version. I put a $20 microSD card in mine as well, and bought a 6.6ft long fast charger, a sturdy case, a padded sleeve, a small attache bag for it, and a 26.8K mAh power bank. My tablet and all its accessories go in that attache bag. I really only use my Fire 7 for reading. I've got nearly 300 books on it, and I spend a few hours reading on it every day. Whether I'm at home, work, or in the woods, it's always with me. If your main purpose for a device is gaming I'd suggest getting a more powerful tablet or just buying a console. When it comes to video games, I have a PC and a Nintendo Switch. I never use tablets or phones for games tbh
I installed Google Play on my new Amazon fire 8 HD Plus 2022 with no issues google play works great😀Also the HD 8 plus is also wireless charging and very portable.

Short answer Yes. Just be aware you have to side load the Google play store and some apps will not work. A lot will work. The operating system doesn't support 64bit only applications. The os is 32bits only. The cpu can support 64bits but the Amazon operating system is only 32bits.
I think the fire hd 8 plus 2022 with wireless charging and side load Google Play Store is the best in the line up of fire tablets in my humble option as it's just the right size and has more portability than The fire 10 which is to big and to much more money not worth it.
If the Fire 7 tablet had 4 or 6 gigabytes of RAM, and an HD screen, whether it’s IPS or not, it would be the perfect tablet.
