Take care of that body Alex. You only get one. Thank God for the helpful older guys I have come across and have helped me building my business and being good people. I could never do it without their help
Stan I must say that you and your crew do some of the greatest quality work I have ever seen! It’s great to watch as you rip out all of the garbage without missing a single bit! It is such a satisfying process to watch!
Funny story, after watching the first video of this job where you got stuck, I got an SSV65 stuck GOOD. Almost rolled it too. Long story short, I was operating above a retaining wall and ship went sideways. Wall sucked me right in. Luckily someone with bigger equipment offered to bail me out. That's always a humbling feeling for sure.
I love your happy go lucky friendliness. You make the world a better place. With all the craziness in the world it is great to see someone who is outwardly friendly and gets things done with a smile on his face. It’s infectious.
With the kubota strainer, when you insert the nozzle, funnel, or whatever, make sure that you don’t punch out the bottom. The pieces from the filter collect in the tank, and then eventually clog the fuel system. We just got our mini ex back from the dealer for that problem
I’ve been in situations as Alex is in. Oh to be young and invincible again lol. He needs to give it time or he’ll end up like me, barely able to move. The monkey claw seems to work out pretty well. I’ll kick back and wait on the last video of this project. Keep up the good work !
Stan, love your ethics in working with potential competitors. You all come out better cooperating and helping if needed. Continue to be impressed with what can be accomplished with a skid steer in the hands of a skilled operator. Good job! Nick, North West Farmer
The fact that you and Johnny don’t always see eye to eye with each other is another thing that makes watching this channel an education in all topics and scenarios. Respect ✊ is a two way street , and that’s what counts. Thank you for sharing your great video with us all Sir 👍 Tam.
I would shut my entire business down in a heartbeat, and move to come work for you brother. I love the diversity of your projects. I’m stuck in a cycle of brush and land clearing and gravel driveways. It’s the biggest demand in this area for us. I love retaining walls and paver patios etc etc....basically hardscaping. But not enough money in the area for a huge demand for it and the logistics to get the materials here are normally a extra cost that turns potential customers away from having it done. Not too mention me and the wife has been talking for two years about moving somewhere new. Lol anyways lots of love and respect to you, your crew and family!
Hope Alex's arm is getting better. Amazing work and thanks for sharing this with us take care Edited that monkey claw is amazing like you say the only thing I would change is the hoses
I can relate to what Alex was saying about not wanting to just stand around and point but I really like how you guys handled that situation. Better than learning the hard way like some of us. You care about all the employees and it shows. It was great to see the guy next door helping you out and that was a nice trailer setup he has.
I'm glad that you clarified the situation with Alex. I couldn't imagine one of your star team members getting booted by a customer. The Monkey Claw seems to be a very useful attachment. The upper claws remind me of something made to inflict destruction on remote control robots in a competition. In my opinion, it's as capable as the machine behind it. Definitely a thumbs up from me...
I like the monkey claw. I think it be good to dig up trees with. Like the Kubota skid steer wish I had a track machine myself. Have a great day be safe.
It’s fun to watch you all run the skid steers I got my first on in 2014 and I have been using from time to time doing small side jobs. I’m planning on going full in next year in may.
All my trucks are fully loaded! Comfort is a must, I use everyday I want to have a office on wheels but we all gotta start somewhere my first trucks weren't fully loaded! But after years of hard work is nice to hop into something comfy after a long day!
You should get one of those cat skid loaders with the remote so you can be outside of the skid loader and still run it or you should get a bob cat tool cat
Stan, the reason I watch you’re channel is because you are not a Douce and you hire men who are also not Douce bags. Seeing what you can do with what you have, with the quality you provide constantly inspires me to do better than I did yesterday. To be honest in my work, and be patient with people. Thank you for being an inspiration.
To answer your question about using fancy trucks for work, yep, I do! Lol. I use my Lexus RX350 to haul my mowers and blowers etc. the small stuff goes in the back and the big stuff goes on my trailer. Works out pretty well honestly. Plus I get all kinds of looks from not being “normal” lol
A GMC work truck package and the Denali have the same powertrain. Same with Ford or Ram. The cabs just get fancier the more money you spend. My Chevy High Country pulls my dump trailer or skid steer just fine.
I use trucks as trucks. Currently own a lifted 1989 Chevy K1500 regular cab short bed that is used to tow my 5th wheel. Its a small 26 foot 5th wheel but most people think the truck will implode if you tow a 5th wheel with a half ton.
Props to you. That's exactly the guy I also don't want to be. I wish I could help everyone I ran across. It doesn't work out that way but in a perfect world it would.
Re Denali as work truck: Boss leases a Denali for 3 years then his company buys the truck off the lease program and the boss gets a new lease unit. The leases are expensed and the used purchase is an accelerated write off. Win-win.
