Let's hope those who buy this track get a true straight track when connected together. The previous track, that I own, doesn't have square ends so when butted together it is way off straight. I need to use a 2mm spacer on one side of the track to get a straight track. Luckily I rarely need a long cut. Evolution customer services were useless, put me off buying anything off Evolution.
Sedge says in the Festool videos that the Festool tracks do not have square ends and they should not be butted up against each. You need a straight edge like a long spirit level to line up the rear edge and then tighten it up.
Well well well I'm glad I seen this today. I have the Bosch plunge saw and got 2 800mm lengths of track 160 for 2.4 was gonna be 240 and mine only fits either it or festool or mafell. Know what I'll be buying next week. Cheers jack. Save me pretty penny. Does it have the trim bar you gotta remove to start with? And is it solid without the clamps?? 🏴👍
Erbauer, is pronounced er-bow-er... bow, like a ships bow, its German I guess... Made me laugh when you said "Aruba". Like the beach boys song🤣. Nice review. 👍

In Peter Mullard's review czcams.com/video/HtJFtP-kDPI/video.html (at 13:46) he showed the Parkside saw being used on these new tracks. So, yes you can.
It doesn't mention them on their website but as other people have pointed out there seems to be some 'confirmed' compatible saws (Like the Parkside) that are also not listed so perhaps their list doesn't include everything?

Hello, Just an FYI the link above doesn't work. Keep the great content coming, been following for a few months now and love the content.
@@jackrouse2339 Updated! Thanks for letting me know!
Just got them for my festool saw. Excellent value and quality
Yes they are!
good review, i built my own but will get one in the future
Thanks 🙏
No tracks are that square to simply butt up in my mind. I leave a small gap and use a good straight edge.
I think it depends on the job, if I needed to be super accurate then I’d measure and butt up the tracks to my marks.
Mark’s comment is on the money here. He is talking about joining the tracks, not lining up the final cut.

Sorry to hear that you had issues! You should let them know and they might replace them!

Nice review mate. I’m just filming mine at the moment. Such an improvement over the old tracks (and saw)!
Thanks 🙏
Is the track square attachment compatible with the older track???
No, they only work with the new tracks.

Haha glad I could help! Yes there’s a trim bar that you cut after first using it. And yes it’s grippy without the clamps!
@@sumeraybuilds great will get one them ordered this week with your code. 🏴👍

Sorry! I'm sure your Festool tracks are awesome though!

I was looking at the Evolution website, thanks for confirming!
Shame it's not compatible with milwaukee
The original one work perfect with Milwaukee so these should be grand too
