Such a joy watching your videos. Just makes one smile, laugh and learn❤. The sound effects on seeing something moving, the butterfly is just so so apt...such an eye for detail... delightful
Thank you so much ☺️
😂😂😂 Oh no! Not the "happy go lucky" music transitioning to the ominous "what the heck is going on?!" vibe. I lost it! 😂😂😂❤
😂😂😂 the switch was epic
@@TheMillennialPlantDad ... and iconic! ❤😅
I knew it would be mosquito larvae. Mosquitoes are terrible here in the US south.
My heart was smiling throughout this video. The music you chose worked very well with your video footage. BRAVO!
Thank you ! I love it when people notice these little things 🥹
That little smile when the butterfly appeared was so dang cute 😭😆
It was such a pleasant surprise 🥹
I love seeing new growth on my plants ;) my hubby doesn't get it and says I shud stop buying plants 😂
Oh gosh the “cold” temperature killed me. 😂😂😂 I start to melt from the heat if my house is 24C (75F). ☠️
lol wow 😂😂 and here I was with my sweater and underneath my duvet shivering 🥶 😂
"Don't waste your time chasing butterflies, mend your garden and the butterflies will come."
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
I’m excited about your rubber tree propagation, plant it next to momma and watch her branch and take off! I had to chop mine and she’s big, bushy, and fully dramatic in her space, love it!
Good luck with your tomato’s!
“JESUS!” 😂😂😂
lol thank you . The Jesus sound effect is truly iconic 😂😂😂
Hello from Florida🌞 I absolutely love your videos!
Thank you so much ☺️
Absolutely love your videos and this was soooo relaxing to watch!!! 💚🥰
Thank you so much ☺️
I’m doing my plant chores while way by watching /listening to your video. I live in Alaska and struggle with that weather.
Omg the fact that you’re watching this all the way in Alaska is truly truly mind blowing! Plants really unify us across oceans and continents!! Thanks for watching
Dude, I discovered your channel last week, and I am blown away by your collection. Amazing video, love the music that goes with it.
I live in the UK and often I long for home in Lagos and my youth when my dad used to grow lovely flowering plants in his compound.
I struggle with finding a lot of the plants you have here in the UK, like some of your Aglaonemas, and that lovely variegated Dieffenbachia. Chef's kiss to you man.
Thank you so so much ! I’m glad I bring back fond memories from your childhood. 🥹
Enjoyed your video.. absolutely love that rain storm .. lovely plants ☘️
Thank you for watching till the very end! I absolutely love the rain storms too as do my plants. 🪴
“WOW. The pressure is getting worser” 😂😂😂😂
Hi first one here I have been watching your videos for a while and I love them I live in the Caribbean, Commonwealth of Dominica and love plants and I collect them too. Keep on with the videos I❤ them.
Oh wow !! Thank you for watching all the way from your beautiful island and thanks for the lovely comment
Hey 👋 friend from the US! I am fairly new to your channel but I admire you and your plans as well as your content! You are very knowledgeable and have an excellent sense of humor! I really appreciate your content, I agree with the comment about your tomatoes to start the seeds in a deeper container and I would also maybe sprinkle your manure on top of the coir. I would also suggest using to top your container with some type of plastic container to keep the seeds from drying and getting too wet and also keep the predators at bay but I’m not a great outside gardner 😊 I am always curious 👀 and fascinated by your channel please don’t change a thing!! Thanks, Ginger
Omg thank you for watching and the amazing tips !!!
Oh tomato seeds need a much deeper starter pot, they will grow roots all along the stems…I’ve even had old tomatoes I didn’t use soon enough sprout the seeds inside the tomato! I just dug a hole and planted the cut pieces and sprouted seeds out in the garden, they’re doing well…yours will be ok too. 😊🌱
Oh dear . Thank you . I’ll see how these fair, when these sprout I’ll move them asap to a deeper nursery pot . Thank you ☺️
I use/repurpose plastic drink cups. Punch a few holes in the bottom for drainage. Tomatoes can be thirsty little guys, avoid watering the leaves. Loved this video@@TheMillennialPlantDad
Loved everything about this video!!! Your content is funny, informative, and very relaxing. I always look forward to your new content. This babes is a forever subscriber and I pray for your channel to grow like your beautiful garden😊
aww thank you so so much for such a lovely comment
Looking good at 35 king! Your ficus looks so much better now. That top cutting is so healthy and fits the pot well. Such a relaxing video for me.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment and I totally agree with you about the Ficus
So happy I found you!!! Love your vibes and your gorgeous plants!! 🪴 💚🦋
I find it so interesting in seeing gardening in another part of the world. The land by me is rolling hills and farm country and its very cool to see the plants in your area and how much they thrive there. That grasshopper is huge I've never seen coloring like that before on one I think I'd run across water to escape one lol.
😂😂 I’ve even seen bigger ones. They are the such a menace in my garden. Thanks for watching and commenting 💚
Oh I held my breath while you were sawing with that steak knife, sharp pruners would have worked in one cut! But all plants cut look great, hope you make lots 💰💰💰on that Thai Con. I loved the Euphorbia Crown of Thorns flowers, never saw such a pretty color with variegation. I have a big pond pot, and I keep minnows and a couple goldfish in it, they love to eat the mosquito larvae…nice video again! 🪴🌱
Thank you so so much . I’m lowkey terrified of pruners . Especially the big ones . I find them so intimidating lol .
I just got some more crown of thorns varieties. Can’t wait to show you all 🥰
Hello, your plant room and garden are SPECTACULAR!! I enjoy your voice and sense of humor, happy planting :)
Thank you so so much 🥰
You are a really pleasant man, I enjoy your calm and warm personality! 😊👍 Fyi, when soaking my coco coir I usually let the bar soak in the recommended amount of water over night. Much less work, No scratching and refilling. Lots of Love from a German plant mum ❤😊🌱
Brother, you didn't have to do all that work for the coconut coir. Just fill the tub with water, and let it hydrate on its own. Once hydrated, it comes apart pretty easily.
Beautiful aglaonemas, btw. 🤩
That's what I do. It fill the bucket and leave it for a few hours. It is always finished when I come back. It needs a lot of water though.
Surprising no one steals ur plants outside
Well that’s where the barbed wires , high fences and gates come in . No one can just get into your premises without your authorization
Hi. I'm sure someone already mentioned it but if you have mosquito bits, you can break off some pieces and put in the water to prevent larvae. They come in a donut hole shape or granules. Only a quarter of the way through this video but love it. 😊
Beautiful plants I love plants too how I wish I had a compound
I have seen those squiggly things in my water propagations . I did not realize they were mosquito larvae but i immediately discarded the water. .
Thanks for sharing.
I just found your channel and I’m so happy🥰 I’m also a child-free millennial. Sending love from Australia 🫶🏻
Sew them tomatoe seeds on toilet or napkin in small container and cover them. Make sure you check them daily ❤
Love from India ❤
I totally enjoyed this , you have an interesting personality. I love your choice of music too
New subscriber. Im going to binge watch every video. I have many plants. I have a diy channel, and I recently posted my plants. I love your channel 😊
Hello, new subscriber from SoutheasternTennessee I just started house plants. Iam excited to learn more from you enjoying your vive thanks ever so much:-) 😊 peace ❤
I enjoyed your plants 🪴 🙌🏾💪🏽
Very calming plant chore vlog, Ebuka. You have a nice garden. The grasshopper is your archenemy 😂 The rain asmr was 🤌🏾
Thank you ! Urgh it’s a constant battle with I and those grasshoppers omg
🍅What you are calling barbed wire in a developing country we call it a ‘gated’ community here in America. There’s no difference when the purpose is the same. I always look forward to seeing your world as you give me the differences in your life and mine here in Mississippi, USA. We’re a lot more same than different. Tomatoes are not easy to grow for me either!😂
Thank you . I was abit self conscious of it before uploading, but now thanks to comments like these I’m not so much . Thanks for watching all the way and yeah tomatoes are definitely not the easiest omg
Absolutly. The rich, the middle class and the poor in the US use fences and gates to keep people out. Entire neighborhoods are fenced in sometimes. Bad people ruin things everywhere sadly. I wish we didn't need fences to keep people out.
I just stumbled upon your channel and have found it so relaxing and entertaining, thank you for sharing your plants! I also wanted to let you know there’s a much easier way to hydrate and separate coco coir. You can use a double bucket/bin system where the top bucket has holes in the bottom and sits inside a solid bucket/bin. Place coco block in the upper bin, fill with water and stir occasionally until broken up (add water as needed) then remove the top bucket and allow the water to drain. Hope this helps save your hands in the future! Happy planting from your new subscriber 😊
New subscriber! 😊❤ I love how you care for your plants! And I love that butterfly quote 🦋
I never knew about the cinnamon trick! Very helpful to know!
I enjoyed watching so much😌🤲💖Beautiful plants🥰
So beautiful ❤
New subscriber here...your collection not only huge but so beautiful!
We get mosquitoes where I live in the US really bad in the summer too. We can't leave water out too long either unless it is behind a screen.
Also, nothing wrong with barbed wire. Better safe than sorry. Theives often go for places that are wide open because people think it is safe when it is not. Better to be safe than an easy target.
Wonderful vid! I can see how much work you put into making your videos! Your plants are beautiful!
❤ love the plant life !
As do I ! 💚☺️
With tomato seeds, I found it much easier to plant them right away in a container big enough for a full grown plant rather than try transplanting them. They almost never survived when I transplanted. 😢 they grow so fast though. I actually got one of those big tubs for storage, put some drainage holes in the bottom, used the lid for run off, filled it to the top with leaves and straw, then put a soil/manure mix on top, and just directly planted seeds. You mostly just have to be careful about over watering when they're little, but they get quiet big very fast, and they're very thirsty plants. I just planted tomatoes at the end of May, and it's middle of July and I already have quiet a few new green tomatoes growing on their vines. Make sure they get like 6 hours of direct light or they will not be happy
Once the weight on the soil gets on the straw and leaves, it will compact it down for you, and typically I've had plenty of soil even filling it pretty full of leaves. They are so very hungry, so the nitrogen really helps get those vines up. Getting enough calcium can be a problem for them, but as long as you water them pretty thoroughly when they are big enough to flower they tend to avoid the blossom end rot, but if you are worried, you can crush eggshells until they're powder, and put them in your soil when you're filling it, and that does take a lot of the worry away.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
💚💚💚
You can shorten those long roots without harming the plants.
I’ve started using microbe lift biological mosquito control for that and fungus gnats! Hope this helps :)
Omg let me go google that . Thank you
I loved every moment of this video. I think that grasshopper sound is something we can all relate to- pretty sure my heart stopped for a split second! 😂 Also, I love how you give your plants a final little pat before you walk away! Im not familiar enough with your videos yet (as I’m a pretty new sub), it could’ve just been random, but just something I noticed 🥰
Thank you ☺️. Definitely not random. I love to pat my well behaved plant girlies ☺️
Thank you for making our day brighter!
Awww and thank you so much for watching
Your rubber plants are so beautiful! I feel bad you need to asks people to ignore bob wire. If people don’t understand everywhere around the world isn’t the same as their own backyard, you shouldn’t feel the need to explain the differences in emerging economies , developing countries , etc. Nevertheless, your video is great and it was so much fun and educational watching it!
Thank you so much !!
Beautiful plants 🪴 Thanks for sharing your very inspirational day!
Hello, so very interesting..cinnamon I must try that. You should have a good amt of rainwater stored. That's some serious rain..Thank You😊
Thank you . I certainly have stored a lot of rain water. I don’t even have anywhere else to store more again . It’s a shame so much of it goes to waste
I love these day in the life videos 😊
Thank you ! I’ll be doing them twice month 😊
💚
Hola! Enjoyed watching your video very much! Saludos from New Mexico, USA. We have very high temperatures here, highest 104 degrees. Your plants look very healthy. At what growth point do your tomato seeds fail? I hope your propagations grow fast, you reminded me to fertilize my plants, thank you! God bless you! :)
Have you looked at ..The Jungle Haven here in uk... Brilliant tips
This was super cute!
🥰🥰
27 degrees celsius is cold for you? You are wearing a sweater? We are currently enjoying a rainy day, 24 degrees, after a grueling 32 degrees yesterday. We opened up everything in the attempt to cool the apartment just a bit before tomorrow comes back with a hot 26. It's too much. I cannot handle all that heat, I am looking forward to autumn when the sun will finally lose its strength. I'm suffering at 25 degrees from the heat and you get cold at 27 😁 Boggles my mind :)
I want my plants ❤❤❤
❤can you share what fertilizer you use for you plants. Love your content Great job.
the way i would have been crying while cutting that ficus
😂😂😂
Thank you for this new video. 🙏🏿
Please never stop being dramatic 😅
I have a question : How quickly did you get roots with the air layering method?
lol I won’t ! Oh I share that much in detail in my rubber plant care video and how to air layer . It’s linked in my description 😊
@@TheMillennialPlantDad Thank you my friend 🙏🏿
Does the neem oil work? I have aphids ! They drive me and my outdoor plants crazy 🤪
Neem oil easily works against them. These were absolutely fried the following day
@@TheMillennialPlantDad Alafia ! I’m going to grab some! Assume that I just mix it with water . 💦
Mosquito larvae is everywhere at the moment. It's insane.
Yeah so you just have to be on the look out for them and act fast ☺️
What was that you were eating? It looked delicious
Thank you , it certainly was . It’s skewered meat. Mixed with some local spices. It’s so delicious but spicy 🥵. Thanks for watching till the very end!
🍃🌱🌿🪴💌
I love your videos❤❤❤ from Michigan question: when you say you water your sansevieria or rubber plants regularly. Do you mean like every day in the full sun?
Thank you . Well I water when they dry . Remember they are growing outdoors and during the dry season it gets extremely sunny here so they dry out quite fast and sometimes I even water daily . However during the rainy season I don’t water as much. But I don’t ever leave them to stay dry for too long
Thank you 🙏
I'm worried... Have you propagated a Thai Con before? Mine just exists! No growth No nothing 😢
Yup I have . It can be slow growing especially when younger but once the roots are fully established they start growing more often. Definitely try to give it more light and fertilize some more
I feel so seen seeing you get so dramatic over plants!!!
😂😂😂😂 I’m glad I could represent my people
As a person who has a chopping problem, I was screaming cut the ficus, cut it! It will branch and be beautiful and you’ll have two!
I know right. Plants really teach us to let go and aim for the future sometimes. I’m looking forward to how bushy it would get
Been loving your videos, you're very fun and keeping it real 💚 this one is also really calming and your collection is so impressive! Hope you get a great price out of that Thai constellation cutting 🙏 Good luck, looking forward to the next video 🥰
Aww thank you so much for such a sweet comment ! I hope you have a fabulous week ahead 💚
