How to DELETE a TIKTOK video

If you want to Delete a TikTok video, this is the video for you.
TikTok videos can be deleted on iOS and Android via the share menu.
In order to get to the TikTok share menu, you have to select the video you want to delete and choose an arrow icon on iOS and 3 dots on Android.
Once you press those, you'll have to scroll all the way to the right and choose delete.
Once you confirm, the TikTok video will be permanently deleted.

Is it true that it’s really bad for your public account if you delete a tiktok or make it private? I’ve heard it lowers your authority score or messes with the algorithm or something? Sometimes I notice a mistake RIGHT after I post the video before it even gets any views and I want to quickly delete it so I can fix the problem and repost. I know that it’s better to make a video private instead of deleting it if it has a lot of likes because you wont lose the likes from your total likes count but that wouldn’t be an issue here since my video wouldn’t have any likes yet. So if people are saying that deleting is bad because of the likes that would be removed, that doesn’t apply in this case. So beyond that reason, would deleting/making a video private seconds after you post when it has no views negatively affect your account? Please reply with your thoughts on this topic!
