  • The Banshee Cup is a Heroes of the Storm tournament with $2500 prizemoney! It is sponsored by psykiv/Kevin and named after his favorite hero Sylvanas, the Banshee Queen! 😁 The teams for Season 2 were decided through a captain's draft. Player signed up individually (not as part of a team) and after the registration closed, the players voted on 8 captains. These captains then proceeded to draft their teams from the pool of signed up players.
In the 2nd stage the teams are split into 2 groups of 4 teams each. Only the two best teams make it into the next and final phase of the tournament. Season 1 of the Banshee Cup introduced the bounty concept and with this season we're further developing the concept. The prize-pool is split into two parts: $1500 that will be shared amonst the Top 3 teams and $1000 that are set aside for a bounty pool. Teams can complete bounties and at the end of the tournament the $1000 will be shared accordingly between the teams, depending on the amount of bounties they completed over the course of the tournament.

I like to think that Guldans horrify is a memetic agent that causes you to feel fear, it doesn’t show you something you fear it just makes you afraid if that makes sense. Would explain why hero’s like Diablo get scared.

He magically tickles your amygdala. Man knows how to work it, if you know what I mean. Adapted from a technique he honed in his warlock-college days.

44:24 Someone clip this audio to add to Khaldor lore. He might try to hide his complicated relationship with Chromie, but there are signs (smacking her around, belittling her, but knowing she likes it), and this really makes sense in that context.

Wanting to rewind and put the video speed at 0.75% for multiple team fights..
(and then actually doing so, especially on game #2)
    wow!

13:30 "what horrirify do to you?" My theory is, that mentaly maybe them saw their loved ones face at the enemy that you are fighting, that make them run away.

@34:59. *pushes up nerd glasses* Uh hmm, technically Khaldor, Leo is still well within the picture. He's just in ghost form. What other hero gets to stick around and provide vision to those who just slaughtered him?
He's the one giving the blue team the entire picture!
    Keks.

Felt really bad about Mascarade losing that game #2. They had some really good teamfights but just couldn't capitalise on their wins. Props to Ultralisk for stopping them and turning game around, that was really cool.
